A hurricane watch is now in effect in Palm Beach County as Hurricane Dorian makes it's way towards Florida.

Pray for all those who are homeless or inadequate homes, that they will be given safe haven. Many have no one, especially elderly and widows, runaways, etc.

Save the eggs! Use a bucket with some sand. Geez things are going extinct. Just don't report on it! DO something. Have one of your co-workers look up how to save turtle eggs, what temperature to keep them in till the hurricane is over then you can dig a hole & out them back after you watch a video on how deep to dig etc.

Yep, this whole thing is FAKE hysteria. I am a surfer in Florida. I predicted where the storm would go and how the fake news would use it long before it got anywhere near even Porto Rico. it's all FAKE HYPE. One store in south Florida sold over 500 generators in one day because of the Hype. South Florida will not get one single rain drop from this. Its all about fake news getting ratings predicting FAKE storm damage.

I lived in Boca around, I think it was around 1995, when a hurricane was coming up and the coast and was predicted to come inland in Boca Raton, people were panicking. I kept going outside and watching the cloud movement over head. When I saw the clouds moving west to east, I knew the Hurricane had passed Boca but WPLG TV was still telling people that Boca was going to get a direst hit. A relative living in Silver Springs kept calling us saying that we should come up there. Eventually the hurricane did hit land, around Cape Kennedy/Ormond Beach and crossed Florida between Orlando and Silver Springs, went into th Gulf strengthened and hit around Tallahassee. In '92 when Andrew hit Davie S. Florida, my Brother-in-law and I were in the surf swimming in Ormond Beach, surf was great, the Life Guard kept whistling us to come back closer to the shore. Before we left the beach, about 3:00 pm, the whole beach was covered in water and we were in about 12" of water on the beach. Florida was a FUN place to live.
