Avi (the bass) received many awards for Best Percussion Section while he was in his college acapella group. Kevin (the beatboxer) won second place in the Yo-Yo Ma contest for his exquisite and unique "celloboxing" (when Kevin beatboxes and plays cello at the same time).

I love that ending. The whispered "Hii" from Kirstie. Kevin shaking his head as Scott adds an extra beat. Kirstie adding a beat of her own and Avi staring at her after. Avi going "Byeee" in his awesome bass voice, Mitch just laughing on the side. They are literally perfect.

This is "old school" PTX, when they were still struggling, trying to break through to the main stream. I loved these recordings when they were just sitting on someone's couch in the living room making recordings. They did a few of these before they broke through with their first CD. After that, these types of videos were history. Love these guys! Wish them the best...

A good friend of mine told me to watch this video because I had never heard of PTX... now, whenever I need a distraction from daily insanity, I go to youtube, search PTX and click the first thing I see. I cannot thank her or them enough for this music.

UltimateFashionist ... the most irrelevant people... that's so incorrect. They are incredibly necessary to the group; they are the foundation. Without Kevin and Avi, it'd just be another trio, but with all five together, they make magic. No one person is more important than the other in Pentatonix, that's for sure.

Tina (My Lovely Wife of 33yrs) and I love this version of "As long as you love me" more so than the original. And believe me y'all, I do Love her and she me with all our heart and soul.!! You guys have the first of this style of music. There maybe others that will utilize your style, but you'll always be the first. In the future when you hear PTX you'll know. Just like Elvis, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, the Eagles, etc.

They are genius when it comes to giving each other their parts. They all rely on each other for time and build off of each other's runs, grooves and melodies. Their solos are amazing, too.
