His device's fps is 144 Hz. But the game only allows 60 fps at the moment. And no, he doesn't use a gamepad; he uses triggers.

The circle is only for the triggers. If you don't know, triggers are nothing but two buttons behind the screen of the phone. It doesn't increase your skill or something. It's only an accessory for people who find it more comfortable.
