It was a thrilling moment for the Abacha Family on Friday, September 13, 2019 as an Abuja, Northern Nigeria based Non-Governmental Organization "Empowerment of the Fallen Heroes Wives and Children Initiatives (EFHWCI) gave a posthumous leadership award to the widow of late Nigerian Head of State, General Sani Abacha, Her Excellency, HAJIYA (DR.) MARYAM ABACHA in commemoration of her husband's service to nationhood.
The Abacha matriarch and the cream of her elegant children which includes first son, Alhaji Mohammed Abacha, first daughter, Hajiya Zainab Lado and second daughter, Hajiya Gumsu Bayero, Sadiq Abacha, Al-mustapha Abacha, and other family and friends wore their best mood and inspiring attires as they received a deluge of awards and accolades from the visiting NGO.
Your Africa's Number Celebrity Encounter Channel, Asabe Afrika TV was given an unfettered access into the inner recess of the Abachas' Asokoro, Abuja home as the former First lady granted us a red exclusive interview.
In this new clip, she spoke about her life after power, politics, governance and ambition.
She rounded it up by saying that even though she was Nigeria's First Lady for the 5 years duration of her late husband's tenure but she never made monetary gain as she was busy doing charity.

Gbenga you are a mad man! Who is a golden mother? In the first place look at the kind of a person you are interviewing? You are always interviewing people of questionable character and you have to be careful if you dont want people to stone you one day. You want to tell me that you are not aware that up till today Abacha loot is still being discovered from every corner of the world? Why didn't you ask her about Abacha loot in London, America and other places? Gbenga Asabe it shall not be well with you for not asking her about her role when MKO was incarcerated by Abacha's government. The story of Abacha's loot will never fade o madam. that's what you think because history will never be kind to your husband and family.Your family is not rich and you are not working but people are always coming to you for assistance and you try your best.
