Awesome interpretation once again, I love your brain 😁 you tied the meaning song together in the end too, I've never thought of that before and never seen anyone else point that out. It really adds even more to the song for me. Together with Rock of Lazarus and Your Anchor, this is in my "Asaf top 3 songs". Both this version and the studio version (which has more of a Moby feel to it). Brilliant composition and melody. Love ya, Zack!

Unique &beautiful). For you who wants to know what the song is about in Asaf's words (paraphrased by me), keep reading. If you want to keep your own interpretation, don't read this comment. . . . This song came about after Asaf had an experience of all the burdens of life weighing him down. All the what ifs, what could have been, all the paths you took or didn't take in life. He felt completely stuck and longed for a blissful simple moment in all this chaos. He watches a lot of Brian Cox's science shows on BBC and remembered Isaac Newtons experiment with prisms, colours and light. A light that shines into a prism creates many different colours on the other side of the prism, but Asaf wanted to reverse that, he didn't want the white light to be fractured into many different pieces. He didn't want so many components/choices/paths in life, he wished for it to be simple, like a clear white path in front of him. So he wanted to shove all the chaos into the prism back to white, to sync everything perfectly. Even though he knew that is an illusion, the world is never that simple. With time our own angles become sharp just like a prism, we refract the light and can't see simplicity anymore. Asaf remembered that the only way Isaac Newton could get the many components to sync into a blinding white light again, was by using another prism. A single one is not enough. Us humans also need someone/something, to sync our different pulses and find our way back to some structure. It can be a life partner, an animal, music, writing, introspection, dance... Awww this makes me a bit emotional. I think this song is so damn beautiful. How put this concept together. And this was only the chorus part... 😄
