Agree, but still sometime people hold grudges.he doesn’t . This podcast is gold for track and field passionate. And passionate about the history of the sport not just the newest sensation. I hope lots of youngsters can appreciate it i was passed on the love for this sport from My dad and i never practiced it, but i would be taken by him every year to the golden gala in rome. It was a summer date that i grew fond of. I tookmy 3 boys to the golden gala and they all practiced track and field and my eldest is now a 19 year-old trainer. He is training young kids for the time being , but they all got their taste of this wonderful sport.

Man I think somebody had some voodoo doll on Asafa because I myself always wondered why Asafa lost races. I'd literally see just how ready he was before the race and then something just happens outta nowhere. Always broke my heart. Asafa you and Gatlin are my track heroes all day everyday. But forget to realize they can't give us that if they mind ain't in the right place and spiritually too

I initially thought this channel was going to be US-centric and biased but I'm so happy I gave it a chance. Like Asafa said, the lack of social media back then means there's so much we (the supporters) didn't know. I'm excited to see this channel grow as more athletes share their stories. Im a Jamaican and like most,we had this dislike for Justin Gatling, but snce tuning in to this podcast and especially after listening to this segment, my respect has gone to another level for this man as a person. I really enjoyed this interview. I remember watching Justin and Asafa races many times. Never hated Justin, but as long as a Jamaican was in that race Justin you were enemy #1 after the race we love you again. Great interview and glad to also learn the other side of Justin too . This podcast was amazing. Asafa was always my favorite sprinter I followwd him since the beginning of his career. I enjoyed this episode. A great rivalry without bitterness. It revealed the other side that these athletes put their body on the line to succeed. They make no excuses for failures or successes. In sum, they all want better treatment for athletes that make the finals of a competition irrespective of who wins.
