Hey everyone! Today I’m bringing you a concept that I like to use a lot when playing odd groupings on the Asalato. Whereas I’ve previously spoken about different groupings you can play, this video details how to offset your movements to give you different combinations within 5 and 7. And as usual, we use South Indian Konnakol to give a new perspective to this West-African percussion instrument :)
PS. Please excuse the autozoom and lighting weirdness.. I’m still filming using my phone, hopefully the focus on good sound quality makes up for it ;)
