Asbury Awakening's Impact Ongoing, One Year Later: 'An Overwhelming Glimpse of God'

6 ай бұрынIt's been one year since the biggest U.S. revival in more than 50 years broke out at Wilmore, Kentucky's Asbury University. Although it lasted only two weeks and two days, the impact was felt far and wide, not only on campus but around the world.
Asbury President Dr. Kevin Brown says there's still a feeling of expectancy in the air, even a year later.
"Our students continue to be hungry. They continue to lead. They've gone and they've shared, we've had over 50 groups go to different ministries and churches, both in the United States and overseas," Brown said.

It was a beautiful life changing event that I felt at home, viewing it. I observed some Christians were in it and it just passed by others. I saved some worship to my personal play list. It is not the same but just shows that the moment cannot be held onto but consumed like manna. Yet, God is not done. We must wait and expect Him.

You have it if only you would belive it and not look for feelings and experiences. Paul the apostal to the gentiles tells us we are complete in Christ. We have been blessed with every spiritual lessing in heavenly places. But they all tell is we need to feel God a d have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Paul says nothing about this in his 13 epistals. The only emotions he mentions is joy and peace. You gave that if only you would belive it!

Another great report on the biggest move of God in this century so far in America! Wendy Griffith did a great job producing this video. God did a great job of producing the Asbury revival that has touched the world in so many ways we will never fully know until we get to heaven.

It is not for us to say what GOD is doing amongst His people, nor is it for us to judge what is happening when He moves among His people. There will always be naysayers; there will always be those who don't want to hear how GOD inspires, Jesus saves, and the Holy Spirit overwhelms a believer. They are not our Judge, our LORD, and our KING. It is in times such as this that our GOD awakens those who need Him, who long for Him, who look to Him for his blessings and forgiveness. In a world that even in two-thousand years still rejects Him, still mock His children, still uses His name as a curse word, and will continue to do so even to their very end, blaspheming His Holy Name as they plead for the rocks to hide them from His Righteousness and Judgement, when they see the punishment that awaits GOD's enemies, will they even then not see the error of their wicked ways? LORD, I pray that somehow, they may swallow their pride, and seek His Mercy and cry out for His Forgiveness, and say "Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the LORD!"!!!

This is our God he is worthy to be praised. He appeared in my home in the Spring of 2021. So he is worth serving because he really loves you. To see his face type in Akiane Kramarik. She masterfully painted a portrait of him. These young peole understand that God is genuine and he will just show up. He is doing miracle after miracle around the world today. Keep your faith in Jesus. God has much more for you. In the Book of Hebrews he reminds us that he rewards those who diligently seek him. God is not a man that he should lie. I have seen so many miracles. He told me I got to see them because I have done the things he asked me to do for him. It is why I know. God Bless !

God is amazing to use whosoever he chooses from a blind (left eye) man named SeeMore (William J. Seymour), to a bunch of hungry students in a town called Wilmore. I believe America is poised for an even greater move of God that will significantly change the fabric of our nation as we know it. Countless in high and low places will experience repenting and believing the gospel and whose eyes will see visible deliverances from demonic entities and being set free with evidence of speaking in tongues. I am excited that from one generation to the next have paid a great price for the anointing that destroys the yokes of bondage and fear. The church maybe would do well with worship and prayer and repentance by the altar, instead of another pre planned "coffee house night" or men or women's conference on this or that. You don't know the life changes these people made, the sincerity of their conversion. God gave us a sabbath for a reason. Work is important, but He is more important, and the study of his commands and repentance of sins is of the utmost value. Once upon a time, I was you. I would have never chose my salvation. Always working, always proud and threatened. The thought of taking a day off, let alone 3 weeks, was disgusting to me. Then God shattered my wicked defenses with a turning car on the corner of Maple Ave and Cherry Boulevard and saved me. And He gave me 3 weeks off from work (hospital recommendation) to learn how to follow His teachings, so that his brand new handiwork wouldn't be shattered.

Yes, I will argue with you, because you are not the LORD and I believe that your work every second philosophy is antagonistic to several of the Lord's teachings, most notably the Sabbath, as is your proud and boastful and sarcastic demeanor. And yes, it is sarcastic to take something that is very likely a genuine outpouring of the Holy Spirit and brand it as a sin, and then talk about how Jesus can heal them (read: make them into workaholics like you). If you really were trying to foster hope, you would lament the sins of others, not use them as an excuse for self promotion. You need to stop this.

@@ZacharySCrider Yes, I think a better way I could have put it is: Without repentance, there can be no revival. Revival is a testimony of renewal of heart, not of an energetic spirit. Why I am wary is because so many people seek after the charismatic, and not after the humility of Christ and His sacrifice. And in the End Times there will be a great "falling away," and I am fearful for these new Christians -- may the seeds truly fall on fertile ground, and may they not wither away when the wind of persecution blows, for great persecution is coming. Christ is power, and might, and healing, and salvation! But Christ is also the whisper in the wind, watcher of sparrows, persecuted and crucified, the sacrificial lamb. Repentance is not fun, is not pretty, and it is not easily sought after. The confession of sins are squeamishly avoided. It is humbling. Unfortunately, revival is easy to fake. Repentance is not.
