Car was recently rolling roaded and on a pessimistic set up got 245 Bhp with over 200lbft of torque at 1000 rpm. Very happy with her. Now has full stainless manifolds since this video was made!

@spinlessbastard1 Cheers for the comments. The yellow one has a pontiac sunbird turbo engine imported from (your?) USA. It's running bigger wheels again, but not excessively so.

Had an Ascona SR back when was 18 a long long long time ago, brakes were horrid as servo on the opposite side of the car, and had only a drivers door mirror, this was the norm, but great car, yours is amazing.

The original 14"s look great with the car lowered. They're so striking and suit the car perfectly. The Ronals are nice too, at least you didn't go for daft 17's or 18's !

They sold 1 million in UK alone and were also built there. They can call them what they like.. ;) it was a world car... Also worth remembering GM gave Opel Vauxhall names too.. e.g. Astra!

I had three of them............84 1.3S, 85 1.6S and 88 1.6i. I thought the car was named Vauxhall Cavalier in England. Here in germany it's Opel Ascona C. Don't knew that Asconas were exported to England.

@AmazingAaron98 Not really, just my cars. Working hard on getting my mum's car on the road for the summer - it's the yellow cav you can see getting painted in my other vids. I got it when she passed away when I was just a boy.

The owners have loads of parks kicking about from the forum: mk2cav.com and yeah, a couple of them do have a few breakers kicking around as parts are much harder to come by now. The car has been at Billing for a good few years, but hopefully one of the others will be there this year. Check out the Billing vids and it's always there somewhere! ;)

Are they being preserved aswell or are they been used for breakers. Does the ownersclub have any breakers yards with any MK2 Cavaliers ?

nice your 1.8 8v have 115hp in brasil this engine have 96 and i think about 106 in the sports version called S/R and we also have a 2.0 8v with 110hp

If you have any spare time (which i doubt!) you would be useful doing pop videos/promos- that's actually quite well choreographed! Back to the car- christ it looked ropey when you started on it. I like the Ascona look in Europe while the Chevy Cavalier in the US looks unattractive. I wish they kept the Opel look in the U.S. version.
