I never understood it. Companys spend way to much money on ads for their game when half that money could of went back into the game, making it even better.

@@Jbmoyer-w1f I think if what they're telling us is true, this game will be massive and extremely well polished. 60 hours of main campaign? Over 100 hours to 100% the game? Tons of more hours in replayability? Seasons? Even flat screen AAA games can be proud of that amount of content. What I'm personally worried about is that they're overhyping it. We all know how wrong can too much hype go...

But as far as I can tell you have to be wearing a headset to see this. . So there is a big jump from the graphics on your VR headset screen to being able to holographically project them, realistically, into reality. . Not saying it doesn’t exist in black projects right now but this isn’t it. .

@@reck5132 you are correct, Disney used the smoke or vapor method for holograms. But this can’t be done even here, as they are doing it in open air and not a controlled environment.

I wonder how sales for quest 3 have been and if this game has pushed sales further? I bought early and excited for my copy, but a lot of money is being thrown at this title in particular. Hope it delivers and push’s the bar for better VR games in 2024.

Okay, so this is apparently actually not that complex. The tech has been around for at least 4 years and it's just a projector, projecting onto a really thin, semi transparent mesh screen that captures and holds the light shining on it really well. It's a "Holo Gauze mesh screen" for those who want to look it up. It's not really that expensive for an advertiser. Sort of just a "how big can you make the mesh screen and how good is your projector" kinda thing and the smoke just hides the mesh so it's not totally obvious that it's 2D.

There is a really big overlooked flaw in handtracking: pinching moves the cursor from your target and causes you to miss. This ruins the whole experience and you guys are still doing it despite how much everyone is talking about it.

@@MetaQuestVR I enjoyed Osiris Temple a lot, as well as I am currently working through the Scorpions Lair and at the Death Stalker Nest fighting an extremely challenging boss. I also very much enjoy the ease the Meta Quest has made it to share my gaming experience through videos, hence the sharing them on my new channel. I have been talking about starting a channel for some time, and must admit, the Meta Quest 3 functions have made it so much more easy for me to do so, as I am "behind the times" tech wise lol. My better half and I have plans to utilize the Horizon World to make discussion type videos dealing with out main page subject of recovery, those videos will be coming soon, as they will help us remain "Faceless" using our Avatars....sorry for the ramble LOL!

I was very stoked for this game. However, after launching it, I was very disappointed. The graphics are terrible compared to the first part (PC Oculus), there is no anti-aliasing, the textures are blurry and not very detailed, and sometimes when there is more going on, the game suffers from fps drops. The first part on the PC took up about 130GB, and the second one takes up only 31GB!! I intended to play it only by streaming from the PC to the version downloaded in the Oculus application, but apart from the first part, the second part is not there. So for now, I'm putting this game aside because I'm used to higher graphics standards these days and I'm not going to torture myself just because someone suddenly came up with the idea that in the era of 4k LCD they'll give me a CRT monitor and tell me to play on it because that's how it is. All right. I will definitely come back to Asgards warth 2 when a full-fledged version is available for download and run in the Oculus application, in which version the graphics generation will be handled by the GPU in my computer.

It's sad it's only a mobile game after all. It's impossible to top the graphics from the previous game. I always prefer run the game on my high end PC and stream it over to my Quest 3.
