I actually got this idea on my head just now, organically, specifically the piano section at 1:22, since that leitmotif is used on the Game Over screen in 3/4. I then went about imagining _this_ song in 3/4, and realized that it worked really dang well (the section at 1:35 in particular). Finally, before going about making it myself, I checked to see if someone else had already made it, and saved myself the work!

considering a vague understanding thats actually a reletively good synopsis, but Toriel had absolutely no idea the player would do anything like that, its more her heart is aching because she has to fight the child to make sure they are strong enough but they dont want to do that to you because they love you and all that.

That's kind of a neat idea though. You can't talk him out of it at all, and he *will* beat you down if you don't "flee." It seems a bit more in line with his character, I think, but the OG setup is probably a bit more impactful.

Asgore actually looks like the monster that can be speared just lile Toriel. With spamming the Mercy button, however he has destroyed it because he wants to die after everything. #GiveTheGoatDadAHug

​@@Dr.Zomboss Fun fact: You can spare Toriel without using the Mercy button at all by selecting fight and missing her repeatedly. I was a bit disappointed that Asgore could not be spared like that. Maybe if Asgore swapped places with Toriel, he'd destroy your Mercy button and you'd have to spare him in exactly that way... and then if you spared him, he'd help you repair the Mercy button before you leave. ...And then I guess later bosses would screw with the interface in other ways, and only undo the interface-screwery if/after you spare them.

PLUS when Frisk is killed in Undertale their soul breaks. Then why are the 6 souls integer despite having supposedly died? Maybe Asgore convinced the children to give up their bodies for the good of monsterkind and they decided to sacrifice themselves for the good of the monsters they learned to love. We have no evidence Asgore killed any children, only the word of a few monsters (including Toriel). Toriel is a coward and a bully to her fuzzy and kind ex-husband who she left without conforting him about his pain. I hate Toriel's character. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
