Loved how ash brought out all of his aces for this one Sans Infernape who already fought and Greninja who is still dealing with the dumb vines And I also love how ash won this one entirely fairly, no Multi-Gimmicks, just a plain Galarian Pokémon battle, can’t wait for the finale and that Scarlet and Violet anime you promised!

In my opinion, Alain simply suffered from bad writing in Journeys, since he was made to look like a complete joke to make Leon appear way stronger… despite the fact that before Journeys, Alain had a multitude of achievements under his belt

Lycanroc using that Iconic Counter to take out Haxorus! Krookodile stealing Aegislash's shield like they were Ash's glasses and using the shield against it! Urushifu pulling a double knockout with Zarude! Sceptile taking out Seismitoad like a ninja! Charizard burning Dragapults children along with Ash and Pikachu! Then the epic clash against Leon's Charizard! Finally we have Pikachu unlocking a power similar to Battle Bond and using a powerful Pika kapow to win the final battle! Amazing Video!

Excellent use of several of Ash’s undisputed aces of many regions, better send off for Charizard, Lycanroc, Krookadile, and Sceptile, Zarude vs Urshifu, a far better team for Leon than the anime gave, a tease for Paldea and much more. Definitely prefer this over the anime

@@ShadowBLXi don't think that's how it works, may be because you need to battle elite four also to become official championsh of a particular region. not saying that ash is not the same caliber of steven, iris or Cynthia infact now he's much stronger than them. but i guess he's not officially the championship of unova, hoenn and sinnoh since he needs to take part in offcial league once again and beat elite four along with respective champion.

@@ShadowBLX I mean beating elite four to become a league champion is never considered in the anime for some reason 🤷. Like alain became kalos league champion but didn't beat full 6v6 elite four battles. Same goes for ash too (feels like in anime it's more of a side quest to defeat elite four, so I guess it's optional to battle them even if you are champion of the league) or hey may be being a regional champion and league champion is different???🤔.

Just realized that the scaling the rocks thing at 16:08 could be a reference to what Ash learned in XY with his battle with Grant. I think the move was called "Rock Tomb Climb". Unlike in Journeys, Ash is actually using what he has learned throughout his journey. Pretty cool, Zac! Keep it up!

15:15 This. THIS is how you get all of Ash's friends in one spot to pay tribute to 25 years without it feeling like shallow fansercice. Everyone is out there following their own dreams, many of which were BECAUSE of Ash. No disrespect to Legacy3211 (the guy who made that image of ashs companions all at Wyndon stadium which was passed around nonstop during Journeys run) but I feel like it unintentionally created an unrealistic expectation. It made way more sense for them to be catching the broadcast from where they were.

That was an amazing battle between Ash and Leon as both gave it their all and Ash manages to pull off an incredible comeback at the end. But now that Ash’s journey in Galar is complete, it’s time for him, Hop and Gloria to go their separate ways but I know they’ll see each other again someday. Looking forward to the final episode.

While it was sad seeing the Underrated Unovan ace go down first, The fact it took a mythical with a type advantage who was basically Leon’s second ace make it ok, phenomenal writing, allowing all of ash’s beloved partners to have a little bit of spotlight without making the, feel weak

Amazing finale! It was surprising to see Ash with a dominant lead for a majority of the match for the first time since Orange Islands. Looking forward to the full compilation, and how it ends. This was even better then the battle from journeys bro in terms of pacing and execution! I love how each ace was handled in the battle and especially that battle between both Charizards. I like how they were both pretty evenly matched and it makes me wonder what would have happened if Leon didn't command ancient power. Either way great finale to an amazing series my man! Ash vs Leon was without a doubt the best battle I’ve seen in the anime but you made it even better! I loved this whole series idea overall, but this ending battle was the icing on the cake. I love that Ash used aces from previous arcs (minus Greninja but we all know why sadly). All in all, well done Zac and thank you for a fun take on Galar!

This was SPECTACULAR times 10000000000000000000000! This whole battle had me at the edge of my seat! This had the a better finale than aim to be mid! The charizard battle was intense! Pikachu v charizard was beyond epic! I’m psyched for the finale! Please do a scarlet and violet anime next. I’ve enjoyed this series more than journeys, and it’s sad that it’s almost ending. Notable highlights, >Ash using reserves >Leon's Charizard defeating two of Ash's pokemon which I kinda wish happened in the official battle >One battle mechanic per side, makes Ash look stronger imo being only restricted to using one >Leon's Charizard having Dragon Rush. Random but I always thought it odd the M8 tournament had it with 4 ranged moves and no physical move. Edit: Leon's Charizard taking a notable amount of hits compared to the actual episode. I dunno, in the latter I always felt as though he didn't take enough hits? Two ineffective Iron Tails, Two Quick Attacks and the final Fire Blast/Thunderbolt collision, whereas here, Lycanroc, Charizard and Pikachu really had to nail a few strong hits to taken down this titan And overall very nice ways to set up Hop and Gloria's upcoming departures from being Ash's companions 👏👏

That was. Wow. Zac never disappoints. The only complaint is I wish the moment where all of ashs pokemon surrounds Pikachu but since there already all there I feel like it wasn't needed. Phenomenal episode and would be the best episode in Pokemon history

In parallel to Journeys, I like to note that when Ash battled Leon, even all of his Ace Pokemon got hit by super-effective moves. Iron tail for Lycanroc, Sacred Sword and Power Whip for Krookodile, Thunderbolt and Ancient Power for Charzard, Toxic and Acrobatics for Sceptile, and Acrobatics for Urshifu, in comparison to Scorching Sands for Pikachu, Dark Pulse and Expanding Force for Gengar, Expanding Force and Acrobatics for Sirfetched, Flamethrower for Lucario, and Dragon Darts and Dragon Tail for Dracovish and Dragonite. Both were very intense battles.

What an epic battle I can’t wait for the finale I think it should be a party for ash at the end celebrating with all his friends and Pokémon from all 8 generations and well done zac on this amazing sword and shield series and I love how you were able to not only bring ash’s old Pokémon back for the League and be able to stuff all his companions in as cameos but also with some of the journeys references and I feel like ash’s charizard losing to Leon’s charizard was a leon vs Alain done right! I also liked the moment where ash thought of all his friends by his side and that it’s the same idea of pikachus vision from canon. 😊👏

Follow-up to my comment: the fight was just as awesome if not moreso than the OG one! Really love how you traded one overpowered Grass-type monkey for another with Zarude and how it was as much as a menace as Rillaboom. Well played 😁

I am excited to see this, I know it going to be great. Also just a suggestion but maybe you can make a series of Pokemon Adventure Manga but with Ash. It would be interesting how the story be with Ash if he was part of the story.

This amazing episode nearly a perfect ten out of ten, 9.9 out of 10, to be specific. The only reason for the missing 0.1 is because Gary didn't freaking have Terrastlization to show towards Ash & Pikachu. 😜

Minor detail but I love how you gave Sceptile Breaking Swipe and Aerial Ace. He DESPERATELY needed attacks that weren’t grass or normal type.

Man, I'm gonna miss this series. I had tons of fun knowing what's gonna happen next time. Yeah, I wished Journeys had some of the stuff here, but this makes up for the mistakes it did. Great stuff here man and great job

Amazing! Loved all the cameos and the charizard V charizard clash! Loved Gary’s reunion and setting up a potential Paldea adventure. However I am kind of sad that Ash’s Galar team didn’t fight Leon however this was absolutely incredible. Infernape would’ve incinerated Zarude with blaze lol
