All were the best in their skills. No one can compare them. We all can hv our personal liking for particular singer, but plz refrain frm maligning the name of other singers. We must respect them all as they respected each other.

Its good see that Ashaji has a lot of respect for Kishore da as a singer as well as a person. These sorts of good relationship should be between artists. Rivalry doesn 't mean that there should be hatred between artists. Manna da, Rafi saheb, Kishore da and Mukesh ji had a lot of respect for each other.

asha is right...no one can sing like kishore..one and only..when i was born, my mum played all kishore songs as she herself was a big fan of his...i grew up listening to his songs and he has a very unusual gifted voice. my favourite kishoreda!

What stupidity!kishore can't sing song like Mohammed Rafi, kishore kumar was a great but not on Mohammed level,see the admission of great classical singer manna Dey,what he said about Mohammed Rafi,nobody can sing like Mohammed Rafi,he kept kishore kumar lower,the reason he gave was kishore kumar sang easy type song,if you disagree,you disagree manna Dey sahab,not me,as for me a lay man,knows none can beat Mohammed Rafi sahab,even in south most of the big singers admit Mohammed Rafi is on another level,these two legendary singers,Lata and asha,they think otherwise because kishore kumar kept them on pedestal,so these two reciprocating the same,the other reason Mohammed Rafi sahab is the most loved singer of India and the greatest singer of all,all the heart which is full of jealousy please check your jealousy why it is? Mohammed Rafi still shines,some heart are sad because they are not revered as sahab is.

You are right. Inspite of having sung many popular duets together in her beginning years,Asha ji seems to have some issue with Rafi saab. Never understood it. In one video she was even explaining how she understood the music director while Rafi saab couldn't.

Goutam Kumar Dey jar singer ke paas kuch speciality thèe. Hi doosre ke paas nahin thee. Pls doosre legends singer ko ignore me karein. Example Manna da for classical, Mukesh ji for sad songs semi classical, Hemanda da for lower pitch songs, Mahendra Kapoor for higher notes patriotic songs. And last mein above all Great Rafi Sahab had all the quality. Har music director aur har actor ki pehli pasand. IBN7 ke poll mein Best Voice of indian playback singing. Secondly tie the other legends Lata Ji and Kishore Da.

@@tejas6110 do you even know the case why he said that ? Just to save mohd. Rafi's reputation infront of media when he was in his massive decline due to tsunami of kishore kumar . It was his humility and greatness that he admitted that Mohd. Rafi had some songs that I could'nt sing. Such a great man . And now people use this statement to put mohd. Rafi over the legendary voice of kishore kumar. The jhankaar in voice that kishore kumar had rafi saab never had in his whole career. Also no. Of hit songs that kishore kumar gave are miles ahead of how many rafi saab gave and are listened across every age group.
