There's a lot of cheap custom sticker websites, and artists will send off for their art to be made into stickers. These sticker factories are often in China, and some rather unscrupulous sticker-makers help themselves to the design, reprint more and sell them for pennies without the artists' permission in random packs like this. Although, I should add that a lot of stickers in this sticker pack feel like sample stickers - ones that are made to show the print quality. That's why none of them seem particularly like art a street artist or fan merch artist would make, though I'd bet at least some of them are artwork stolen in this fashion. The same thing happens with metal badges/pins people get made, they steal the moulds and sell cheap bootlegs.

I've often wondered about the sticker packs on Wish. At first I thought they might be over-runs, and factory seconds, but I don't think so anymore. Even the stickers that were obviously designed for a specific thing stay on sale for years. My current theory is that every time someone orders some custom stickers, the factory just keeps the file and adds it to the rotation.

The “mushroom” reminds me of the game Façade, there’s some strange house decor of that size and shape that can be interacted with... of course, most people who play the game make jokes about it being particularly dildoesque.

HeroQuest was fun, so was Space Crusade. Also fresnel lenses are reliable and decent, shame they're just too bloody expensive to obtain in any decent quality.

Am I the only who's getting a serious Pog vibe from the stickers? The late 90's/early 00's underground comic book aesthetic and seemingly random nature of the designs and styles is what does it for me. And yes, I assume most if not all of them are at best plagiarizing and at worst outright stealing copyrighted designs. That skull in a gas mask really reminds me of the Cthon logo (which also goes for a retro, late 90's aesthetic, thinking about it).

Those stickers really ranged from "Tattoo designs - Stolen fantasy art - stickers that a teenager would plaster on their door/laptop" Really shot me back in time some of those, since so many of those designs are so ubiquitous of what you would see in a teenagers room circa the late 90's/early 00's in the US.

The stickers are from my cousin's window. He grew up in the late '80s in Brazil and for some reason, his window (including parts of the glass part) and walls are filled to the brim with stickers much like those. I don't think my aunt ever felt like removing them because they give a certain air of nostalgia to the place. My guess is that whatever produced those things that were certainly popular at a specific time period still has tons of them, and Wish is pawning them off.
