Streamed live on January 8, 2017 on my Twitch page. The commentary was an attempt at a personal history of my experiences with the game but it is cut with me talking to people who stopped in my stream and some talk about my life at the time. Sorry for that.

Thanks for remembering this game. Some of my happiest memories. I played a character named Hal for a while whilst at University. I still dream of this game often. Nothing compares. The community spirit was amazing too, so many evenings just playing our musical instruments with the lush graphics which were a massive leap compared to the MMORPG I was playing in 2001 ( which was a Korean 2D 256 colour conversion lol), I spent thousands to play it all maxed out at 1600 resolution with 16xAA and 2xAA ... and most of all graphically something I've never seen since 'Self Shadow' option looked AMAZING! I had a smile on my face all the time. And the community was the most intelligent and polite EVER.

It was a special game for its time had some very fun classes. What made us quit were the players or rather the "community" it was just terrible. It could have been the server I played on but just thinking back it was in 2002 or something like that? Nowadays I'm used to seeing those players everywhere but back then it was different. WoW didn't even exist. We played for 2-3 months and returned to daoc, never looked back at ac2.

@@huldu It's sad that you had a bad experience with AC2. It really must have been bad luck with the server you played on, as the people I met were friendly and helpful. I will always cherish my warm memories of how captivating AC2 was for me. It was a very special game for its time.

A shame I never took the time to actually appreciate this game. Had plenty to do, Glad I can see at least some of it through ya man!

Pity about this game. One emulation project out there for it, but in a very early state. AC1 on the other hand, has an entire collection of emu servers. I am currently playing on one that has re-imagined the skill system of the game to a huge degree and we are loving it. Looks like AC1, but in a way feels like AC3. There are pvp servers, non-pvp servers, Dark Majesty (and earlier) servers, end of retail servers and more.

So nice to hear how much this game meant to you because it meant the world to me as well 🌞 When I picked up this game I was in a place where I didn't really like anything in my life and I felt kind of lost and especially sad. This game had a community that welcomed me with open arms and everyone was being so helpful and friendly and it actually teach me the most important social skill: to be kind to others 💜 This game touched my heart and I miss it! @Flargenyargen Hello and sorry for the bother, very long shot, but worth a try. :) I'm looking for datas regarding crafted items. By any chance, do you have any idea of where i could find screenshots, or even video recording of a crafting session, or even you going through your crafted gear or some pieces? I could see your weapon (but not fully), or a butchery knife, but not much outside of that. If by any chance you read this message, thanks a lot!

It's no bother, I appreciate you reaching out! The question of crafting videos came up a few months back and I went through all the footage I had and didn't find any substantial videos. Sad because I did a lot of crafting while the game was live. I did find a short clip where I crafted a single item that I will find and upload later today. If I find anything interesting where I'm examining gear, I'll also post that and let you know.
