We end the speculative artisan system series with this final installment of Crafting! Ashes of Creation will be launching their Alpha 2 later this year, where we will learn much more about the artisan system as a whole!
Much love content creators and guilds referenced in my lore tangent to reinforce why I think adding additional details to crafted equipment could be a cool idea! Especially to Vlhadus, and I do not think he will really be tyrant... :)

I hope they have scarce resources in some areas of the map so transporting iron ore to those areas could be more profitable compared to where you gathered them. Since you have limited slots in resource bags people would have to make a lot of trips going to far away nodes to buy bulk iron ore. People would pay a premium to cut out that transit time
