This is probably the best node type for a guild, they can elect someone safely from their own guild and travel to vassel node faster. In the other hand it forces them to be the good guys in their node or they might have problems electing mayors from their guilds

I agree entirely. Most reasonably attainable mayor position for a guild. Easiest to organize.

Hi Sunny! Fast travel is an amazing guild perk and a great reason to join a guild with a Sci-Node

Large guilds will control the 4-5 Metropolis nodes on any server. For the survival of the large guilds, they MUST be Scientific nodes. The Scientific Metropolis will give the controlling guild a material advantage in defending their power base.

These nodes are economically very strategic. For sure. But if they don’t have auction houses…? Maybe?
