To be fair, it just petrified the magical medallions that turn those rocks into a golem, so when they stopped working, the golem collapsed back into just a pile of rocks.

@@Free_robux_under_descritpion I think it's weird. That petrify look should only turn living thing into stone. Magik medal is just a device or a magic seal spell that make golem animated, it's not a living thing.

I like it because, when you think about it, Medusa's head in Greek mythology was obtained by Perseus for the sole purpose of defeating the Kraken. There was no other earthly way to beat such a monster. I feel like it being an overpowered weapon able to one-hit anything is just doing the monster justice.

So in theory you could collect a few Medusa heads and keep them in your storage so they don't decay. Then grab them and kill all the dragon end game bosses

@@brandonwyatt8097 oh side note if you’re farming heads be sure to enjoy them before the true ending because once you begin true ending everything in your storage will rot no stopping it. I lost 10 Medusa heads cause of it

My only rub about the Medusa head is how it isn't covered while on your belt. A medusa's gaze while petrify all in its sight, it could be petrifying everybody nearby.

Glad someone tried it, I was going to use it on sphinx and the last boss just to see what happen and I never thought to use it on Talos, I wonder how it effect the end game

Also I was able to aggro the false sovran by shooting at them before the cutscene of the ramp collapses. He is unkillable tho, and I forgot to try to Petrify him. Unmaking arrow didn’t work on him either or throwing him into lava or brine. I would assume petrification wouldn’t work either as it doesn’t work with everyone in the city.

don't do it on the sphinx if you can help it. Yes, she'll die, but won't drop the key. The endgame without Talos is also not too diffrent, you just have to fight the bosses he would've taken care off otherwise.

In the endgame, Talos is effectively destroyed and unable to be used if you petrify it. Im not sure how it affects pillars and bosses since fighting Talos normally affects how many you have to fight.

Holy shyt. This is question I wanna ask but i didn’t know how to activate the Medusa head. I did equip it but i must be blind like a bat to find how to used it. Also how long does the head last when you have it on with you. I currently have mine in the storage cause i didnt know how to used it. But I do wanna fight some drake and instant kill it lol .

Me: Petrifies Cyclops and shatters it. Goes to sleep at a camp not two steps away. Next morning the petrified Cyclops is in one piece again. Needless to say I got jump-scared that I was being ambushed.

It is balanced … the stoned creatures cant looted. Only from questgivers you get the loot. The unmaking arrow is much better and you get loot :) (only 2 in a game but … for the loot :D ) (Save at an inn or homebase before you use it … so you have more trys for shooting)

Interesting you got drops from the lich. Counted as gravity kill?? Hmmm... I'd kill a griffon or dragon with the head while they are airborne and see if they give drops as well when killed in that fashion.

I just did the Medusa head on the Sphinx I couldn't find where I got my first Seekers token and the fights kind of risky if you can't get her down in time she'll fly away so I just chose to make her a stone and call it a day. kind of sucks cuz I thought maybe I'd be able to get the eternal wake Stone after but no I just got the experience . Hopefully I'm able to do it correctly in New game Plus or something

The fight is easy keep telling your pawns to wait and attack her hind legs while avoiding her attacks I really think the trick is you have to keep telling your pawns to wait.

No, it drains with every use untill it changes its look and the text on it states it. You can Farm medusa to get afew heads if you wanted. I used the thief with the electric daggers climbed up her and went in on her head area, if done fast enough you'll get a " perfect " head to use.

It's not eternal it decays over time and decays by using it. They are easy to farm though, just put her to sleep hit her in the head with slashing weapon, the wait/rest 7 days repeat.

Dont use the head, only usebit once on medusa for the eye for an eye achievment; -I've used one on a dragon to find out no WLC can be dropped from petrifying them. -Used another on the titan, only to find out this blocks an achievement (petrifying him has him remain dead in the the unmoored world, blocking the achievement relating to watching the titan fight a dragon). -whatever

The Arisen may not allowed to be in Smash for having a medusa head, but Arisen can won many death battle matches with many characters. He would be another most overpowered character in video game history!
