Old Fort doesn't seem like it's even part of western NC, But I guess it is! That drive down I-40 is sketchy for sure! Is there another way to get to Old Fort without taking the interstate? What really made my head explode was the fact there's a Piggly Wiggly there - that's something I associate more with the lowlands and South Carolina, not western NC! If I was looking to buy, I'd love one of those shipping container homes. Those are amazing.

Yes! Piggly wiggly usually is down south a little more. That drive down the mountain is easy… on 40.
