I had lost my faith for a long time and then this song made me realize I didn’t lose faith ..I had lost myself.

I suffer from severe depression and PTSD. I'm a single Mommy of 2 of the greatest kids. We recently became a family of God. I've seen what He can do. One day about 2 years ago I was at my rock bottom. We were displaced from our home due to a flood and it became overwhelming. I contemplated suicide. I felt I failed my kids and I wasnt worthy of them or anyone. Including God. I was trying to figure out how I was going to take my life. I knew I wanted to do it I just needed strength to do it. I started browsing thru my Facebook to think of ways to say goodbye to everyone. Boom just like that there you were. Your 30 second video of you sitting in a car wearing a Christmas reindeer sweater with colorful bows singing this song. I cried. I dropped to my knees and cried. I googled the song and found the entire song. But it was your voice, your gift that grabbed my heart and gave me strength. Strength to not take my life but strength to continue my life. My life that God had given me. Today I'm in the hospital and felt the need to listen just to give me that pep of faith as I do many times when I feel down. I'm just amazed by your voice, your spirit and your live for God. I just want to thank you for what you have done for me. You are truly an angel. I was just in my moms room and decided to listen to this song in from the beginning to the end I just stood there, close my eyes, and cried while worshiping his name for everything he has done. My mom has had 3 miscariages and she got pregnant again she is 7 weeks and we went to the doctors to have an ultra sound the doctor said they were supposed to hear a heartbeat and so they didn't. I’m 8 months pregnant and under a lot of stress rn trying so hard not to let it effect my child. Your version of this song literally has me in tears while I’m driving right now.

Myself and a friend were recently thrown from his jet ski at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. (A 3 to 4 foot wave hit us sideways.) We could have been seriously injured or worse. A witness was there and refused to help. We were lost for literally hours. We had lost our map when we ended up in the water. We finally were able to get back on the jetski. I prayed the same prayer over and over and over again. The doggy was home alone. I thought we would not find our way back to our cove. I was hoping we wouldn't end up spending the night out there. Every person we talked to gave us wrong directions. Eventually we found the cove. Thank God, and thank God again.
