that would be Maldini . and , Carlos ranks higher than Ashley simply because he was technically more gifted and has achieved more . for me thou Ashley is a better left back than both . Carlos is a better player playing left back , Marcelo too , Maldini is a better defender at left back , but Ashley had everything , offensively and defensively , incredible at both
