Similar with Selena who in 2 years released 3 studio albums, did 2 tours, promo for 2 Disney films while also filming actual films, a clothing line, Disney promo, same for Hilary, Raven, Demi, etc

thank you for this! i truly feel she’s not ever mentioned or given the credit she deserves. and it’s probably because she is a ‘basic white blonde’ character. but at the end of the day, she had a huge impact on everything she was in. she worked so hard. she was also a bit older, older seeming. she was in some abc movies too i believe. she deserves her own show but it was never really gonna happen unfortunately. she deserves tons of credit!

I'm really happy she wanted to act, you hear so many stories of kids that were forced to act just to support their families, so its refreshing to see someone who was living their dreams. I guess it shows tho, she more than provided on her roles, clearly she was having fun and living her best life stealing absolutely every show she was in.

Ashley Tisdale was my FAVORITE celebrity as a kid…I ate UP her album and anything she was in. I even changed the way I spell my name (which is Maddie) because of her character on Suite Life. And of course….Sharpay was my absolute ICON (she was done SO DIRTY in the HSM by Troy and Gabriella I swear!!😂) I’m so glad she ended up having a seemingly normal life and do her own thing.

I hate how in any form of the entertainment industry kids go in just thinking about being great at whatever they're getting into an becoming a star an just end up traumatized, overworked an either underpaid or end up broke. I always want to ask their parents wtf were they doing during alot of this stuff that ends up happening to alot of these kids. HSM villainized the true victim and actually the only hardworking person in the franchise, Sharpay was confident and hardworking but just because she was very feminine they chose to make her look like a villain, she actually deserved a huge apology and isn't even given credit for an amazing character she was, HSM was nothing without her, Troy was a jerk and Gabriella was just plain irrelevant and boring

When looking at child stars & Disney, I think it's worth noting that there's always been a machine that chews them up & spits then out. Their first big star, Bobby Driscoll is a prime , tragic example that foreshadowed how child stars would be treated from there out. It's so rare for any of them to leave relatively unscathed. Ashley has done so well for herself, which is impressive as hell considering everything these kids go through.

I never really liked "High School Musical" as I was more of a "Camp Rock" fan, but I liked Ashley's character in "Suite Life...". Ngl while I had a Gabriella doll as a child,I actually liked Sharpay over her.Sure she was a privileged and blonde mean girl but I did have some sympathy towards her in some parts of the movie and also I love pink and was obsessed with her pink locker and car.I loved HSM 2 and remember at school arguing with another girl on whether Miley Cyrus was in the film and I was right.It was great to see the premiere of these movies and Ashley Tisdale will forever be a 2000s icon.

I had no idea Ashley was the voice of Candace on Phineas and Ferb. By the end of the 2000s, I had outgrown both Disney and Nickelodeon. Ashley Tisdale had been acting since she was about 3. But, her career didn't really take off until she was casted in the Suite Life of Zack and Cody at the age of 19. I believe her character Maddie was 14 when the show first started. I have to say her career in show business took an interesting turn.

I've always loved her! She's always been so sweet, doesn't on earth, and fun loving. While I grew up with Sharpay and Maudie who were ICONS, I also loved her in Hellcats the CW show. She was great in it. She was also good in the Netflix show Merry, Happy, Whatever. And her albums were iconic.

My favourite thing about High School Musical is that they graduated high school in the summer of 2008. I wonder what happened to those bright-eyed millennials jazz-squaring head first into the recession 😬 I write musicals for fun and HSM 4 is my next project lol

Her first two albums were so good. I think they were so underrated. The first one is so chill and actually quite sweet. The second one is a dive into various trendy forms of pop at the time, wrapped in a distorted master (still great songs but sheesh). Her second album should have blown up the pop charts. It was so good.
