at this point, honestly, the Royale High devs keep saying EVERY SINGLE YEAR "oh, we're gonna do better to communicate with our players." "we're gonna make better updates." "we're sorry, we'll do better." and EVERY SINGLE YEAR nothing changes. they just keep messing up and coming out with updates that make the game worse every time. honestly, it's getting ridiculous at this point, and I'm really, truly, thinking about just not playing the game at all anymore. I haven't been in Royale High since last year in December. over it.

9:31 the cherry blossom set is a culturally inaccurate, sloppy mix of vaguely “asian” concepts done with a lack of intent to make a set that actually represents a culture, plus the chopsticks in the hair is stereotypical and (afaik) offensive, which is why people take issue with it

i’ve been playing royale high for as long as i can remember, and this is super depressing just seeing this golden game fall into ruins because of overpricing, and developer laziness i’ve actually stopped playing it about like 2 weeks ago bc of how expensive the starlight set was and how there was barely any new updates even though the developers would apologize and make the most blank promises to help make RH better i’ve started playing Astro Renaissance, a game SIMILAR (not copied) to Royale High, and I’ve also noticed how POORLY RH represents different cultures and such.

Found this when looking up if you can copyright clothing. Copyright protects the creators of intellectual property of works of art, which means your design cannot be reproduced or duplicated without your permission. However, clothing is considered a "useful article." This means you cannot copyright the clothes themselves, or even the design. So makes no sense for them to delete it if there reasoning was because of copy right.

The fluttering butterfly was literally my first bodice! I literally only have *ONE* bodice now because it is very hard for me to do anything on my PlayStation because on mobile my game instantly crashes! I used to be able to play royal high Ipoh mobile with no problems at all! Now it is so hard to afford anything now. I wish Royal High gets the update it needs, because it used to be my favourite game. And not telling the creators is crazy!

Matt was literally working w royale high since like 2018 and was considered as a developer. He was literally in events as an npc but he was suddenly discluded. I've always felt that matt was slowly drifting away from rh and i thought it was just me but they're clearly showing no signs of acknowledgement to a fellow developer who helped this game to be where it is now (not including the bad.) I haven't played rh for like a year and for me, The new developers they've hired are like so not in touch. Wannabe professionals, Just dropping hints and leaks of updates here and there. Most of them are so young working with a middle aged woman. Why can't barbie just hire someone her age? IK it's seen in talent but it's kinda weird. This is purely my opinion! Plus new devs just makes overpriced sets like gaddamn. We need a sukimeki comeback. Reasonable prices for quality sets ‼️‼️

My friend quit due to royale high deleting her favorite item.. (it had smth to do with Melanie Martinez). The sad part is that they barely even gave her enough gems to make up for it. That item getting removed was her breaking point, so she quit the game due to all the problems she listed to me. (Believe me, there were a lot). It’s honestly sad at this point because royale high has so much potential, and great aesthetics, but the devs absolutely suck at managing it. I get it if they’re busy, but they could at least *update* us on what’s going on.

Tbh Royale High is actually broken when campus 3 came out like the dorms update to spend more diamonds on expensive stuff for a nice dorm and some players are low on diamonds but like,spend robux to buy x2/x4 diamonds per lv up or whatever has ruined the game a lot but if you're a veteran in that game or an old player of the game and has a lot of diamonds, you're lucky enough and the new set is kinda expensive in my opinion (all of this are my opinion on the game but I still play it bc I like to grind diamonds and play it in my free time)

Nah I took a break from royale high (when dorms just got released, I dipped) just to see THIS!? Not only do they take 2 sets away but I just learned you have to pay for dorms and for new dorms you can’t even reuse items you already paid for!? People spent like over 100k in some cases! i've been playing royale high for 5 years now and i spent majority of my time during covid lockdown playing the game and making friends with people in the community. i have to say though, ever since the new school was released, royale high just hasn't felt the same. the updates are underwhelming, the community is slowly diminishing and the game is more about who can get the highest value items rather than the gameplay. i'm starting to wonder whether i should quit because, like you said in the video, the community is in "shambles"

I have been on a rh break for a few months (ever since December I lost my 749 day log in streak I gave up🤭) and I had no clue what to expect for the update or that there was one until Bea posted a video. I read the title and RAAAANNN to rh, when I got there I was compensated for the sets and I didn’t think much of it except maybe a few ppl being upset. However, I was not aware that they didn’t tell the creator not to mention all the other small details like the dorms. I feel like even the “new hair friday” is falling apart too because every time they reuse the old hair styles and just add a different little spin with new art. They could easily take inspo from the roblox hair catalog. What is happening is not an issue for me (other than the dorms) but nothing compares to that halo….idk who made it or why they made it because I thought that the Everfriend was supposed to be for valentines+Easter+spring all in one- I’m not criticizing the creators work of it other than…I want to know how and why they thought of that design. It seems very basic and bland. The flowers aren’t even detailed flowers..it’s like it’s just a child’s drawing of squiggles and flowers and was rushed. They could have at least added some detailed flowers..

those were cuter than the feather set to me. absolutely agree with you. I am beyond upset and disappointed. as soon as I found out today I checked social media and is crazy. all while Beaplays claims is not RH fault. anyway. the "new update" is the doll (1500) limited edition, sold out. not available in the game unless you bought it. which means the majority of the community will never get it. and so this is shocking THEY TOOK THE SETS OFF! so I think many people are against they partnered/agree with supporting idf is crazy. I checked the count game and they are lower in LIKES nad in players. compared to newer games like Dress to Impress.

I just started royale high 4 days ago and I’m level 31. I honestly didn’t care that much myself since I have no heels, corsets, sleeves, and skirts. But I really feel bad for everyone who lost the heels they grinded for.

I’m pretty sure that the sets were removed due to copyright, as Fluttering Butterfly was a Winx transformation, and Enchanting Heirloom was an outfit that Melanie Martinez wore in a concert. So my best guess is that Royale High had no choice but to remove the sets from the game due to copyright. I still do think the update is fairly stupid. Enchantix High was also copyrighted, so I can see why Fluttering Butterfly was removed, but Melanie is a very sweet person and I doubt she would want Enchanting Heirloom taken out of the game just because it resembled her concert outfit.

I quit Royale High, after my devices which are NOT old ( my moms iPhone 15 too) kept crashing due to the amount of data and lag in the new campus. I missed campus 2, it was so good. But seeing the Butterfly heels, my first pair i spent weeks grinding without any gamepasses just get removed just hurts.

Honestly, not that surprised at all. The devs keep rinse and repeating the same apology, but I dont blame the devs, the dev team from what I know are **Children** hired by ADULTS much older than them. The Owners of the game should be the ones to blame. They make all the calls, all the shots, I get it the devs are not nice but they are young kids who are still learning and trying to understand the world around them. Now if the Devs arent kids, okay then ignore that first bit ^ LOL But anyways, they should 100% have alerted the creator of the sets before hand. Should have alerted the community before hand. I dont really mind the Cherry Blossom Set, I think it more needs an upgrade to the newer "models" they are doing. I love the hairpins, and the fan, to me Royale High is a fantasy game, not a game your supposed to look for to rely on "MAKE IT REAL LIFE ACCURATE!" The more you do that, the more honestly IN MY OPINION it takes away from the fantasy aspect. I like the Winter Guardian Set, the Swan set, all the sets that are original I like more cause no drama suddenly comes around them.
