Learning to play guitar in the beginning is so difficult. I can hear my expression in my head but can't translate it through my fingers. Its frustrating

Learn all the scales, both major/minor and pentatonic major and minor.. mixolydian too. Learn caged and practice them slowly and try to see the shapes on the fretboard and make the conections between chords and how you can flow from one to the other. This should be as easy as you talk but to reach that level you have to learn all of this. Dominant chords and arppegios as well. It shouldn't take more than 6 months if you practice 2 hours a day. Start with one shape/scale at a time. And maybe 50% as importance, practice with a metronome or a beat and learn to play triplets too. Good luck

I love the way you escalated things bringing more jazzy flourishes into play. Gorgeous tone. You should be very proud - takes a lot of practice to get this good. The electric guitar is a gift to us all.

Ash, heck yes I enjoy this jam. Though there are no "borrowed" licks, your playing here brings to mind Ronnie Earl, Mike Bloomfield and Tommy Castro, all who know (and knew) something about slow blues. Pretty good company to be in.
