Mumbai Nashik highway condition is always ambiguous. We have started to experience Mumbai Nashik highway, in order to reach Ashoka Waterfalls which is the second name of Vihigaon Waterfalls.
This is near to Igatpuri / Nashik, and hence people call it as Ashoka Waterfall Igatpuri or Ashoka Waterfall of Nashik too. The waterfall is located next to Kasara Ghat. And hence people also address it as Ashoka Waterfalls Kasara ghat.
In monsoon, Mumbai Nashik highway always struggles. So, we decided to show the detailed update on latest condition of Mumbai Nashik highway today.

Lovely video , i can connect to the harrowing experience of the roads.. I wonder when the situation of roads around Mumbai change. On other note it's good you are using shell v power. Incase you use normal fuel try using fuel additives from amsoil like performance booser and other octane booster. Good brands would be amsoil, liqui molly and mannol. Wish you many more happy and safe miles exploring

Thanks a lot for the compliment!! Maharashtra roads beyond the expressways are pathetic. Even pune expressway struggles with crawling traffic. Recently switched to V power since last 2 refuels. Before that I was using XP95 of Indian oil. I was unaware of the additives, will explore those. Since I have lots of highway drives, at times I have to fill 91 octane petrol due to unavailability of 95 Octane

I'm from mumbai andheri ... i want to ask you ask who is skoda ... i'm upgrading corolla altis diesel to skoda superb ... i'm diesel lover i've nexon too which is diesel... is skoda as punch of diesel in skoda petrol and what about matiance... will it put the burden on pocket?

Skoda cars are really good machine to drive. But, nothing can replace a diesel engine - Personal view. However, in Slavia during my highway drives I get that torque which keeps the vehicle rolling, not completely like diesel but better than other petrol cars. Even I drove creta with 1.4 turbo petrol and regularly driving Slavia with 1.5 L turbo petrol. Engine of Slavia/ Kushaq is way better than creta on road. I have not experienced superb though. Coming to maintenance, enquire about maintenance package. I have picked up 4 years labour plus oil & air filter maintenance package for 24,999 - this covers 4 services (interval of 15,000 km). Not sure, how it is going to spike up after 4 years.

Thanks so much for this! We had planned an Igatpuri drive on the weekend but cancelled it in view of the weather. Another thing was the potholes on the road - I am afraid to take my Slavia Style 1.0 AT on these kind of roads for the fear of bursting my tyres given the relatively low profile at 205/55 R16. Are you satisfied or might change them? What tyre pressure do you typically use? PS: I purchased the Slavia after I saw your Ladakh video - I thought if this car can go to Ladkah it can go anywhere!

Go for it, just drive cautiously. If you accidentally hit the pot holes on high speed, it may cut the tyre. I was cautious enough to either avoid the pot holes or slowly drive over them. There was not a single belly scrapping in this entire trip. I am still using the same set of stock tyres and the car has done 33k+ kms with these tyres. I am planning to use them till 50 K at least and change post that depending on the condition. With 2 person I normally use 33 PSI (indicated in the door). Great to know about your choice. Hope the car is performing well !!!
