It would be so easy to be jaded about your twin brother being a huge celebrity, and on top of that, you being born with health challenges. But this man is living life and grateful for it, and now helping others. What a total legend and inspiration!!! What an exceptional person.

But not jaded from jealousy Jaded from lack of privacy No one wants to be thrown into the spotlight like that especially someone with a disability I also have cerebral palsy so I know where he’s coming from When you have a noticeable disability you get one of two reactions out of people Relentless bullying or people who wanna baby you all the time and never take you seriously about anything like you’re a child No one wants to be treated that way disability or not 💯

@@AnnieWarbux Sorry but how do you know hard hard Michael has had “it”? Illness and experiences related to disability such as discrimination, bullying, microagressions, literally not being afforded the same opportunities as other people, having low self esteem, constantly getting knocked back, people assuming you’re stupid, etc. are just a handful of the endless things disabled (physically and mentally- including people with trauma and mental health issues) go through on a daily basis. It’s impossible to compare one person’s experience to another, since so much of us suffer in silence and most struggles are never spoken about. Trust me, I would know.

As an outsider it's heartwarming to see the closeness between these siblings. Not everyone has such a strong family bond. It's wonderful to see MIla and Aston stay strong in view of his health scare. It could've turned into a life long debilitating struggle. Reminds me of Michael J. Fox and his wife, Tracy they obviously took their vows, in sickness and in health to heart .Compare that against other married celebs who dump their spouses at the drop of a hat or trade in their old wives for younger models. Getting a divorce is effortless for some, like changing soiled underwear. J Lo, Kimho & West, The Bradys, Holmes and Robach, Fergie and Josh, many other examples. Since they live their lives in the public spectrum they're fair game for ridicule.

My brother also has cerebral palsy and I commend them for speaking out and bringing more awareness. There’s a lot of guilt in having a sibling with a disability and a lot of heartache as it’s not easy especially as a child to watch your brother go through so much pain. Hopefully they can use their platform to raise money for more research on how to prevent and treat cp.

Fun Fact : Ashton Kutcher went to school to be a doctor at U of I, but was more interested in Biochemical Engineering (creating medicine) partly due to his brother. He became a model as a dare between friends, but left college for his modeling career, and his alcohol use. It's good to see he's keeping true to his word to his brother in the end.

This made me smile , i also wanted and got into med school for the sake of my disabled siblings , i dropped out cuz i was not into general medicine, i was always fascinated by dentistry so it was useless forcing myself . Words cannot describe the feelings of pride and happiness for being able to stick with your siblings in need . He s an incredible person for being there for his brother!

Major respect for both of them after seeing this especially Ashton's brother for wanting to help others with CP to deal with this difficulty. My financial guy who helped me set up my IRA was born with CP, but he like Michael hasn't let it define who he is. He went & got his degree in financing, and helps others like me to get ready for retirement.

Me and my twin have same story . I was born with bad heart and about to get my fourth heart transplant at 22 . My sister was born normal . We are inseparable we do everything together ❤I also was give 1 year at birth and my last transplant I flatlined and saw heaven . Edit : I just saw the comments ty all for the love and support. I understand that people would get triggered for something I can’t control. I accept people have different religious views and don’t believe me. Im a psychic for living . After my near death experience at 11 I developed a understanding and knowing for this world I purposely came down here. When I flatlined I went back to the Creator. Everything was white pure light I was just my soul. I was ascending for what felt like minutes. Then god telepathically told me it’s not my time and I’m needed here . I got knocked back into my body at light force and woke up in a coma 3 days later on the Ventilator. So heaven from my experience is going back into light . My souls original state of being .

I first heard about Michael a few years ago when I was looking for powerful guest speakers for our HR conference and I was looking for sample keynotes that they had delivered in the past. I was really taken away by his charisma on stage and his depth and genuineness. Unfortunately, we couldn't hire his services because the company opted to spend most of the budget on another keynote speaker so we didn't have enough left in the budget I am still looking forward to having him present for our audience.

CP affects anyone who has it so differently. There are no two of us the same. Also, it is still seen so much as a child's issue but we grow with it, we age with it and it changes depending on what happens to us. If we break a bone that can forever affect our CP. Disability is still not widely represented in the media in North America. Ryan a contestant on Survivor this year has CP and because he does not look disabled it was never focused on but the other cast mate who is an amputee was. There is nothing wrong with that but as someone with CP I was so happy to see Ryan competing. I hope Michael Kutcher does whatever makes him happy he does not have to be a "spokesperson or face" for people with CP or disabilities. The people we need to help us are the people who do the hiring/ casting etc.
