@@Direwolf181 Yeah in the confrontation between Percy and Ashton in that episode everyone in the comments was cheering on Ashton about "calling out Percy's BS" but didn't realize that Ashton's BS is essentally the same. After all, young Percy from Vox Machina could have made the exact same speech and it would have been just as true. Yes, Percy is priviledged as a kid and again as an older man, but at that time he was an orphan who'd lost his entire family and been literally tortured. What's more it was a brilliant choice by Matt to have older Percy react to Ashton's speech in an almost paternal way. Not just because he's a 50 year old man who has a daughter about Ashton's age, but also, for all his flaws (arrogance, smugness, etc.) he is an intelligent guy. He has the capacity to recognize that someone like Ashton is very much who he used to be, and it makes sense that, with 3 decades more life experience, he would have the insight to realize that 'wow, he's who I once was', rather than just getting angry as he might have when we saw him during the Vox Machina days.

I was wondering that myself. Ashton has shown some crafting skills in the past (the nightmare king mask).

I believe he'll make one for him. If Paté turns out to actually be Delilah "incarnate," then he will carry out his threats and turn him INTO one.

Yup, first thing that came to mind.

Personally, I don't buy it, Delilah has always struck me as this universe's equivalent to Sarah Kerrigan as the Queen of Blades = "Queen B!tch of the Universe." or at least someone with a serious role as contender for the position. I don't see her coming back from that though.

This is from C3E38 when Laudna was introducing Pate 2.0 to the party Laudna: "and you remember Imogen?" Pate: "Imogen, I do indeed" if we consider this exchange then we can assume that Pate is: 1. Animated using Laudna's memories and how she perceives him as a blueprint for his personality. 2. Pate does not really remember any of the BH and just riding on with Laudna's introduction like an improv exercise 3. That's Delilah's soul inside the macabre rat doll, posing as a loyal familiar
