Materials:
1.5 cups of wheat for ashure
1/2 cup beans
1/2 cup chickpeas
10 dried apricots
5-6 dried figs
7-8 dried black plums (damson plums)
1/2 cup berries
1/2 cup sultana raisins
1/2 dried black grapes
1 glass of sugar
Half a teaspoon of salt
Fabrication:
Sort and wash the apricots, figs, plums and grapes. Since they cook in a short time, you do not need to keep them in hot water.
Chop the dried apricots, figs and dried black plums into small cubes.
Boil one and a half cups of wheat for ashure.
Boil half a glass of dry beans and add them to the boiled ashura wheat.
Again, boil half a glass of chickpeas, add them to the boiled ashura wheat and mix.
Add all other ingredients and salt and mix. Add half a liter of water and cook for about half an hour. Add water if necessary depending on the consistency of the Ashura. After cooking, add sugar, stir and remove from heat. After it cools down, let it rest in the refrigerator for a few hours. Ashura is ready to serve. Enjoy your meal.
