Installing a GLE BAC8000 and doing a battery bypass myself then a little test ride to check its a successful install.

Great Job mate. I've got the talaria and the surron, will be doing the asi installation on mine today. I removed the circuit breaker and replaced the stock cable with two 8awg ones and soldered them to two copper wire lugs and added QS8-S plug connectors. Just wanted to see if your video specifies adding the GLE ground negative lug onto the bikes negative lug. Crack on!

That bike just amazes me every time I can’t believe the speed it does and the torque it’s got , I will definitely get one of theses one day then I can re watch your vids and do the same to mine I can’t wait till you upgrade to the 72v I think you will need to strap your hands to the grips so you don’t get ripped off it lol great vid mate on the the next one 👍 also love the rear view cam definitely try and edit more of that in your vids 👍

Haha the 72v will be deadly but I so wanna try it to see what the fuss is with it. Yes rear cam I thought I would try and going to get some more different angles in future Thanks mate 👍

I work for 3 days straight and I miss all this!! Love the heat sink on the BAC8000 - looks so tidy! How are you riding without the eggrider? My BAC4000 had to be set up in the downloadable eggrider app in order to work properly.Looks pretty darn quick, you are knocking the content out of the park right now Johnny! Cheers!

Egg rider is back ordered they don't have stock yet. Yes I've seen you noticed the phone app. Works without phone or egg rider just stuck in whichever setting I was last in. I've actually just sorted out my concern and seems even faster now I just needed to do a update tune. Thanks mate appreciate that support and positivity 👍

It looks great! I think i might have to get this controller for my sting looks really interesting that you can see all the stats on your phone and tune it how you like. What would you say is the limit with power you can pull with the bypass?

It's great and always plenty of room for a more powerful battery. I've seen people pull8ng 9 and 10kw but not advised constant. 8kw is a safe bet but that's only my opinion.

You’ve gone down the rabbit hole haven’t you mate? Next step: 72v battery and better suspension. Then brakes, then…? It’s a wild ride! I work for a guy who is going to make some kind of improved linkage for the Talaria. I’ll keep you posted on his progress

You could say that in ways I suppose but I enjoy messing about with them. Brakes are fine for me unless the break. 72v then I could get 15kw potentially. Yes keep me posted it sounds interesting

Does upgrading the controller alone give you any benefits? I mean without the bypass battery

its hard to tell if its any faster, maybe 25% more acceleration ? there must be a downside to bypassing the bms, something to do with safety or life of the battery.

I can't remember the percentage of increase bit its definitely given it more speed, torque and range . I thought you would know about battery bypass. These cells are only operating at 80% ish so room for improvement. Surron cells something like 1860 and talaria is 2180 or something similar. Down sides yes just won't last as long but still along time I've seen people do o surron and fine years later. Even a petrol car if you make it go faster it reduces life span.

@@motomachinezuk8786 be interesting to see how it goes, im just looking on that Dude Stuff channel he did that 14Kw Kuberg bike and also hes been riding a Sur Ron for a change. Lot of people seem scared about riding those bikes though, they must not live in a chill area.

@@ash0787 yes I've seen them he not a real rider gives his review with a 10 min ride. Those kuberg arnt ce approved, no English outlet; wheel bearing go all the time and no range but do have power. That's why not popular. Plus cost alot more than surron. He's got that for sale already at £3250

Well I'm use to 12000w but it's definitely a good difference over stock. I think it's more preparing for the 72v this controller but definitely worth doing bypass. The bike is alot better now for sure
