They are back to work on the "Jeddah Tower" before few days ago, and its name was also changed to a new name, which is "King Salman Tower"

The Chinese government prohibited in 2020 the construction of buildings of more than 500 meters in height, therefore we will see all projects either reduced in height or canceled.

Great video Top Luxury, but you sadly missed my country Bangladesh's upcoming sky scrapers, they are Bangabandhu Tri-Tower which has 3 different buildings and the main one is set to be around 465 meters while the tip of the tower will be around 470+ meters tall probably and the final other skyscraper will be the Bangladesh Iconic Tower which will be around 730+ meters tall which is still a proposed project but I think it has already been approved by now, but all in all a great video Top Luxury can't wait for the day when you will make a video on my country!

I'm not certain, but I recall reading something, saying that the ideal building height, based on cost-effectiveness, is somewhere around 22 stories, but obviously, this all depends on the level of demand in a particular area, and how much of the building's height is usable. With innovations in materials science and construction techniques, taller buildings across the board may become much cheaper, but there's always the question of demand. It bears consideration that Paris is about twice the population-density of New York City, but with very few tall buildings; density doesn't require vast height, but building taller does allow for larger floor plans than the famously-small Parisian apartment homes.

Yes, for looks, and populated spaces. For example, the reason there are many skyscrapers in most cities is because there isn't enough space to build 20 story flats, so instead of building sideways, they need to build up.

Asia has truly thrown its historical significance right out the window with these giant toothpicks. Could've done it like Europe and keep it to a moderate amount while funneling some of the funds to maintenance of old buildings with disctinct architecture but no..

Aside from vanity ... even in Asia, you can't tell me that the financials of any of these megascrapers make any sense. Back in the day, both the WTC twins as well as the subsequent 1 WTC replacement only exist because 2 states subsidized their construction.

If youre talking about being futuristic and futuristic cities, architecture, and infratstructure, Asia already has risen to the top. Far Eastern and South East Asian cities. The west’s time is over, western cities lookk like 1800’s cottages next to Shanghai Hong Kong Kuala Lumpur Singapore Seoul Shenzen Guangzhou Tokyo etc

Many times in your videos you talk about skyscrapers that "will be ____" when the their status still completely unknown (proposed or un-hold, etc) or sometimes cancelled. For example, you say Grand Rama 9 is "under construction" but the project has already been cancelled for some time and before that its status was quite unknown. I noticed this type of mistake fairly often if your videos, which is understandable to an extent when you're researching a lot of material, is still in spite of your content being pretty good and valuable overall, but is quite annoying as it's disinformation to those unware.

FYI,Merdeka PNB 118 is currently 89% finish and was expected to be complete in 2022. Also,if they add the height a little more then,it'll be higher than the Burj Khalifa. Also,I'm not sure but I heard a news that say that Signature Tower Jakarta is cancelled for an unknown reasons. (Maybe it's because that Jakarta is sinking.) Edit: So the reason it got cancelled is because the building location was too close to an airport.
