I manually change all of the sizes on each variation to reflect actual US sizes to make things less confusing for my customers. Then I state in the description that the size on the tag may not reflect the size accurately because of asian conversions. It's a ton of work but it's worth it in the end

2-3 ? Would that make customer kind of confused and hesistant? I had not size chart and sold lot of hoodies and had few returns but I think they didn't return it because it was too much of a hassle. I do'nt want that since I want customers to have something fit them. So would next size up be more accurate? I think the customer will know what to get then. I have bulk edit where i can implement this notice if i can't get size chart but would like to see what majority of people think in terms of what size is generally good fiting (next size up or 2-3 works).

No they won't be confused. I clearly state a particular item is recommended to purchase 1 or 2 or 3 sizes larger and display the original size chart. It can't go wrong. I mean that's what aliexpress suppliers do, so why not for us as well. It's much worse when customers order an L and the sizes arrive in an XXXL even if it fits correctly. I've heard more than 1 horror store of too many returns from wrong size labels.

Hey Danyal! Fair question. I can see why you think customers would be hesitant however after doing this myself have not found it a problem. Or what I will do is change the variant names so they are for 1-2 sizes bigger. For example, switching the large to say small so that way customers automatically order 1-2 sizes bigger! :) -Tommy

I’ve had 150+ orders but am starting to hear “they are way too small “ more often . Honestly I think fat customers can’t fit any Asian size .

Yeah I ordered a sample for myself as a retailer I ordered one size to small. I have keep it but will have to order a bigger size in the future.

I have more issues buying clothing in the US than Europe or Asia. Sizes in the US are so inconsistent, every brand fits differently. One thing for sure is Asian clothing is 1 or 2 sizes smaller than US sizes. European sizing is smaller and slimmer. So if you are the average size American, buying clothing overseas is always going to be a challenge

Most stuff I ever ordered that were asian sized but simply adding a few XLs. Forget that women have bigger hips, bellies or butts or even thighs and usually the on dresses the waist start right where the chest is located so fabric goes in instead of out. If You buy a swimmingsuit then it is the opposite. The chestareas fabric reach up about where your Naval is located. They do not measure that bigger women are any taller I guess. So Try to imagine an 8 year old European girl as the height (150 cm) and add 80-90 kg around that, then You get the biggest asian size ever. 170 cm or taller women does not exist, nor heavier than 90 kg. It also seems like all the weight above 50 kg is located in the chestarea on the clothes or say somewhere above hips and under chest in reality. Do not bother buying asian size if your BMI is over 30, and If your height is over 160 cm. You Will most likely not fit the standard. Most 3xl and 5xl adult Asian sized clothes I ever bought is somewhat ok for kids and shorter teens without extra fat on their bodies.

Unfortunately my manufacturer in China doesn't offer pre shrunk fabric. How do I adjust this on a size chart? Example: my sample was sized for a kids 14 US. After washing and drying, it was now a size 8-10 US, they shrunk a whole size. I'm so glad I did this because it would save me a ton of $ on returns. Can you please explain what you would do in this case? Thank you! : )

so confusing, the numbers are all over the place. length just right, but sleeve too short, and bust too wide. all at the same time. its like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle. I've been sitting on one purchase for nearly 3 weeks, measuring and remeasuring trying to choose whether my US Mens Medium is closest to the Asian AliExpress XL or XXL. I have converted all Asian tag sizes to US/EU. Just remember to inform the customer that the tag size on the item will be different to their order.

Good question Nina! I would suggest going two sizes up to be safe for US to Asian. For example, if you are looking to get a small, I would suggest ordering a large. However, the best thing to do is check the actual measurements! -Tommy

The best thing is to use an APP which does the conversion for the customer. Telling the customer to buy 2-3 sizes larger causes misunderstandings and is not practical

Im 5 feet 1 and I suspect I am a size large there's seems to be a huge lack of consistency. whats strange is im almost underweight im 7 stone 7 but have thick thighs and large waist. My thinnest point is a 25 but my bellybutton is a 30. My legs are almost 22 inches each and my hip is a 34.5. Well thank you , that helped clear things up some. Almost everything you wear has made in china on the tag. So we know it exist. It's like a secret or ya gotta go way to china to find the US sizes. I believe that the correct sizes are within the same companies we purchase from the Bs sizes from. Course that's speculation.

The cosplay I planned to purchase is only Asian sizes. I would have fit into Asian XL when my waist(91cm) and hips(108cm) wouldn't be a little bigger than that on the size chart- Not sure if it would actually fit or not. I don't really want to scrap that and need a little help- Their sizes for waist and hips(XL): W: 75-78cm H: 95-98cm Bust: 93-96cm I don't even know if a seamstress could correct that.. Well at least the bust (95cm) is kinda between it, but might be a little tight- I'm seriously clueless right now

Hey PK! It worked for me to use a different variation of the word. For "Large" I simply use "L" or "LRG" and this works. Otherwise if you are still looking for some help reach out out to hello@oberlo.com so our support team can have a closer look! :) -Tommy
