If you are looking for MTB helmets; I can confirm that Troy Lee A1, A3, and Sweet Protection Trailblazer all fit round heads.

Great video regarding us with “round, wide, or flat in the back heads”. I’ve always had to size up to size L to be able to fit my 22.5 in head - also wear a skull cap or a cycling cap seem to help fill the void.

They don’t call it Asian fit though they call it round fit. Please check out the new video to see how it looks. Thank you!!!

Most helmets, particularly in the US, are marketed for western/European round OVAL-shaped head. It makes sense. The similar challenge exists for motorcycle helmets - which is why the only m/c helmets that fit me are the Torc T1 and the Suomy SpeedStar. I have both and they're awesome. My only problem: I have an unusually large head - I mean, it virtually creates its own gravity well. Anyway - I'm just glad we have options! I'm gonna check out the Rudy!

@@WorkingDadTriathlete - Well, I went for the Giro Savant because it's summer and I want vents! And it was much less expensive. If I honestly felt like I could utilize a better aerodynamic shape to give me a competitive edge, I would have gotten it. But, alas, I'm old and slow. (And that's not just the toilet!) In the one tri I do a year, I'm *consistently* in the lower 1/3 of competitors - and I'm just glad to finish it!

This will probably be more confusing, but I got mine off of Amazon, and it does not specify AF. It fits my globe-shaped melon very well. I'm pleased with my choice. Thanks, @workingdadtriathlete!

Great review and excellent observation. The same goes for motorcycle helmets. Revzilla understood this and includes WITH their descriptions *shape* of head a helmet best suited for the type of head. Bicycle companies would be helping their customers better if they made that simple adjustment. One could say they’d get a-head of the others ... (ba-dum-ching!)

My parent screwed up when I was little, so my back head is REALLY flat, sometimes I feel I can even rotate those oval shape helmet 90 degrees and push in more than when it's at the right angle. GIRO wasn't even enough, I had to go with KABUTO. Ordered from Rakuten JP site.

Has anyone tried the Giro Agilis MIPS helmet? Does it fit Asians? I had the Giro Savant but I crashed and damaged it. Looking to buy a new Giro Helmet.

Hello AK, I haven’t tried the Agilis but I think Giro does make it some what circular shaped. I know Rudy is good. Let me know how it is after you buy Agilis I would love to hear about it and make more videos that has new updates. Thank you!

@@WorkingDadTriathlete I also ordered the Giro Syntax which looks like it could be a better Asian fit than the Agilis. Both helmets are on sale at the Trek Bicycle Superstore right now. Not sure if it's free return shipping if it doesn't fit.

@@WorkingDadTriathlete bad news...both the agilis and syntax are not Asian fit. The agilis is worse. The syntax was better but still not good. I still have my giro atmos 2 which is the perfect Asian fit. But I need to replace the giro savant after my son crashed. I wonder if the mips system has something to do with all these oval helmets these days.

Skinny Europeans born from a c section have to to wear Asian fit cuz of no natural head deformation. Head stays perfectly circular. Im 190cm and 85 kilo and wear M Asian fit at 55-57 cm
