The first one is definitely true for me as western mum. I was always praising my kids about their artistic talent 😅 But I would hate it if they would call me by my first name. I’m Mom always and ever! 😊

Also another great video would Be comparing differences between different Asian countries/families. Last couple of decades I found Korean and Chinese are very different despite sharing many cultural similarities and also being close geographically. Koreans have been accustomed to nuclear family for past 2 generations yet there are still a lot of Chinese and Taiwanese families where 3 generations live under the same roof. Chinese and Taiwanese grandparents very often volunteer to take care of or even raise their grandchildren yet Koreans rarely do that. Also Korean men rarely cook yet I’ve seen a lot of Chinese husbands super enthusiastic about cooking. I’ve seen same with Japanese.

When I thought Asian families were strict and valued family tradition I was in huge cultural shock when I realized we didn’t even come close to Jewish families… maybe you guys should do next skit about Jewish families vs other 😂

Mama jisung, you so beautiful 😄 You guys really made My day. my mom is Asian but she educates me like western as well as eastern, my mom gives me freedom but I can't cross the line as a child, also she is like a friend to me and she was very fussy when I got low grades in school hahaha 😂but her attention is beyond anything, she takes care of me and dad sincerely. I love her so much. One day if I become a mother, I will do the same 😁 Btw may i know who is director of This video so funny Thank you so much 🥰💐

My husband and I argued because. he praised my daughter's piano performance at a school concert and I didn't - she went wrong, it wasn't perfect - why would I praise that? She didn't practice enough. Not even Asian LOL

ROFL. (that addressing your parent by their first name would not fly over here as well (across all ethnicities)... the "hippy-ish" parents that foster this are very few and far between compared to average westerners)
