I remember once my mom came screaming asking if I had done a chore, I said I did, then she asked about another one and it kept going and going. She was really trying to find ONE thing I hadn't done so she could scold me but couldn't find it so laughed it off and walked away disappointed lmfao

Mine would have yelled at me for being a smartass even if I answered perfectly polite. ToT If they can't find a problem they'll make one.

God I really hate moms like that who find it necessary to always scold their kids. I remember as a kid I would innocently ask my mom what she’d be making for dinner and out of frustration or whatever she’d always answer “cat poop” (which is like saying it’s none of your business) But bruh way to go bonding with your child 😑

Istg Asian parents can never just watch us sit and do nothing. It's like something itches inside them, them the moment we're not doing something. 😭
