Ryan and David will be showing off the newest expansion for Russian Railroads - Asian Railroads! This comes in the Ultimate Railroads box and features a lot of new mechanics, including a shared engineering board.

I agree with Bobaflott: To unlock a bonus it is not enough to buy a train reaching the cell containing that bonus. You also have to reach that cell at least with your basic (unpainted) rail. Unfortunately this rule in not followed multiple times during the game. Watchers of this video new to the game should better be aware of this.

Your trains can't reach the bonuses without any track...you need atleast the basic track to unlock the idea tokens for example.

Surprised it’s taken so long to arrive Stateside. It’s normally us, in the UK that have to wait! Got mine at UKGE in June! Fantastic box of fun. Thanks for showing Asian.

If memory serves, you cannot take first player if you're already first player. David did it a lot.

Ryan was under the impression that this is allowed in a 2-player game. Although we were a bit rusty on some of the rules. 😉

David is correct. In a 2 player game you can, but not at any other player count.

@@LoremasterRyan I missed that but now see it on pg22. I dislike when the make a changes by player count section. They really need to just merge the info into the rules.

Still so tempted by Ultimate Railroads….the big boxes these days are killing my shelves, though…or should I say, killing the extra areas in which I’ve been tucking games, since my official fame shelves are full 😂
