I did not know they had a market like this in Orlando!! We always hit up H-Mart in Atlanta and this place is sooo much closer. I can't wait to go! Awesome video, thanks for taking us with you!

@@wrightdownmainstreet Bakery 1908 has really good Portuguese egg tarts (in the self-serve section). I also like their Taiwan popcorn chicken on the kitchen menu.

There's no tomato in Tteokbokki! It's the gochujang that gives it the red color. Lol! And the majority of food vendors at Lotte are Korean food except for the Thai place and the vendor where you got the katsu. Actually, Lotte is a Korean business, although they stock all types of Asian supplies and groceries. I've never had mayo in gimbap before either, that's odd? Usually some mayo in rice balls (tuna rice balls, yum!) Try making a batch of kimchi! It's fun, there are tons of tutorials, it's just a little time consuming, but very rewarding! Also more cost effective. Maangchi on KZfaq is excellent if you want to learn how to make kimchi and tons of other Korean dishes!

Oh my gosh- I wish I lived there. That market is amazing!! “Everything would be coming home with me”. I just learned how to make Okonomiyaki pancakes. I’ve made them with shrimp, chicken and pork- all are delicious!!😋

You were so unsettled for a bit after trying to figure out if you ate mayo or not 😂 also, usually those stores sell the electric grills to do KBBQ. My friends and I will buy all the meat and the sides at the markets and do KBBQ at home. Makes dinner time fun!

Kristen - this video inspired me to visit a small Asian market here in TX. I bought the Buldok kimchi flavored ramen, a jar of pickled kimchi, butter coconut cookies, shrimp crackers, a can of honeydew melon boba drink, and rice cakes. I am preparing the ramen now and will be adding the rice cakes, as you had mentioned-can’t wait to try it!!

My sons are adopted from Korea, and you reminded me of my 10 year old ( in a fun way!! 🤣) when i take him to H-Mart up here in NJ- because he always wants to buy one of everything. 🤣 We love those bulgogi dumplings, and Korean scallion "pancakes" are great, too! can't wait to see what you get into when you make it to Japan!! 😄

Thai Thani on I drive was one of my friends favorites when we lived in Orlando. Not sure how it is now but it was good a couple years ago.

You need to try CARNE EN VARA LA GLORIA GRILL A Venezuelan and Peruvian restaurant in Kissimmee. One of my clients took me there for Christmas dinner and we had the shareable meat platter and it was amazing. The owner is really nice and asked me to mention it wherever I could so that he could get more business. Thus, I am mentioning it here. I hope you get a chance to try it.

Right next to Lotte Market, there’s a Korean BBQ restaurant that’s honestly so authentic and so good I haven’t found anything else to beat it in central florida. It’s called Kangs Kitchen (which I think they changed the name to something else) but I highly recommend!

I appreciate folks who are willing to step out of their comfort zone and try new things. Asian food in general can sometimes be pretty odd, even off putting but so so delicious if you open your mind to it! I know you did a Jollibee video already but if you could get some real authentic Filipino food in Orlando I think you would LOVE it. Got some good recs if you ever come back up to NJ😊

There’s a Lotte plaza market that just opened in Tampa that I’m going to for the first time and now I’m even more excited and feeling a little prepared. New markets this size can be a little overwhelming and I never know where to start. Can’t wait to try out their food court!

Awesome! The market is huge but there’s so much to see. I love going through every single aisle because you’ll never know what you find. Make sure you get the kimchi!

Love Lotte Mart! Also worth trying Katsu Pork Curry Don at Sushi Kichi. Also love Beefy King for their roast beef sandwich and their BBQ sauce is my fav. And of course Domu, Quickly Boba, and East End Market is great.

OMG. What a Great video. My favorite of yours. Everything looks yummy. . I live in Denver. Do they ship to other states? And the prices were fantastic. Another place to try us Domo restaurant or Domu in a Market place in Orlando for their sesame chicken wings and soup bowls. Thanks so much for the great tour and the indepth review of all foods, even at home. Loved it.

Pho 88 is pretty good. I get special pho add in hoisin/chili oil/soy sauce/siracha. Broth was tasty as is. Spring rolls with shrimp and pork sipped in peanut sauce.. King Bao is awesome! Pork belly bun and grouper were my favorite Gyu-Kaku Japanese steakhouse. It’s like kbbq but have meat packages with top cuts. And for some reason taste of Asian next to Walmart-- orange chicken is crazy good, I was surprised.

You MUST check out The Southern Deli in Apopka. Locally owned by the sweetest family. House made French onion dip, the best ham sandwich you’ll ever try. Delicious shrimp and grits. The pot pie is heavenly.

My goto’s from Asian supermarkets are: Kewpie Mayo, Buldak Hot Sauce, Milki’s Drink, Curry Buldak, Golden Curry (great Japanese curry), Gomtang ramen (beef bone broth ramen), Shin Ramen (spicy ramen) and Dongwon Kimchi Tuna

Oh the jajang ramen is great it’s not spicy…it’s a bean sauce. You have to try a freshly made one though it is the best!!! It comes spicy too if you like it. 😉

Kristen!! Btw you like kimchi me too i have a recommendation kimchi cubed radishes are amazing too. Think you will like them but you need to find the crunchy brand. Some brands make it and it’s not crunchy. I love this brand- “Goshen” if you can find it. Enjoy! Btw so cool to know you’re from NJ we’re from NY. That kimbop should be fine, never heard of them having mayo before. And that piece of fish was expensive because that was in the sushi making section, sushi grade is always pricey 😬

If you can’t find the rice cakes at that store, Trader Joe’s has them and it’s easier to find. It’s in the frozen section with the other Asian foods

Anyway, from watching them, I learned to correctly pronounce tteokbokki. Believe it or not, it's pronounced "duck-boki". Really, I'm not pranking you. Thanks for bringing us along! 💜

I don’t think there is mayo on the kimbap. It should say on the label if there was. I have eaten kimbap many times and never noticed anything like mayo. I think you are safe.

For classic NY/NJ style pizza Strombolis in Windermere is the best I’ve found. For entrees, pasta & such Fresco Cocina is great
