Syria played like their lives depended on it, and it paid. Jalil Elias in his first national participation showed us all what he really is made of! Such an elegant player who became the heart of the team. Ask about Kribin? Sure he showed up when it matters the most. Congrats to Syria. Without Somah, Kharbin was the guy to score. It was a decent goal. It definitely brings joy and pride to all Syrian people. The Indian team will gradually make progress in football for sure, as long as the young Indians are passionate about it. (I know the number 1 sports for them is always cricket. But I can see that the young Indians follow and love football a lot more than the old generation, I live in UAE). I would love to see a more competitive Indian national team in future. Congratulations to Syria from India, qualifying for the first time. Best of luck for the next round. I'm not happy with India's performance. I knew we were nowhere near the levels of the other teams in our group, but not scoring a goal in 3 games and conceding 6 is embarrassing. We put on a much better fight in 2019 than this.
