Upto 3 lac - 0 6 lacs - 0 7 lacs - 0 9 lacs - 45,000 12 lacs - 90,000 15 lacs - 150,000 20 lacs - 300,000 25 lacs - 450,000 30 lacs - 600,000 If you are not fully using 80C ,80D, HRA/housing loan interest , NPS etc, the new regime might be better.

Not favourable . In old scheme there is provison for VI A deductions . That may be about 400000 . That is in old regime people who have upto 900000 lakh gross Income were exempted from tax whereas in new regime it is limited to 700000

Biggest drawback of new tax regime is it discourages savings that is beneficial for a person in future as well as it can run an economy since this money would be utitised for investments in equity, mutual funds etc. But the hard truth is that many would believe new tax regime is attractive. Although this gives temporary relief to middle class people, in the long run old tax regime might prove effective.

Your explanations is not clear. In the new scheme there is only an exemption of Rs300000/-. But, the total income in new scheme is Seven lakhs or below, the tax on this amount calculated and there is provision to deduct this tax amount. Hence NIL Tax. If not filed (New Scheme )IT Return in the notified time limit, nobody can file the return in the NEW SCHEME, and compelled to file the ITR in old scheme remitting huge TAX. (2) If the total income (including SB acc. Interest inclusive) is Rs700000 and 50 paise, (this comes to Rs700001 - exemption is over) and TAX to be paid from 300000-700001 lakhs. (Only new change is, instead of 2.5 lakhs, 3 L exemption; and tax rate reduced and slab changed) that's all.

Standard deduction is applicable for everyone irrespective of income. Other deductions can be claimed under the old scheme.

ഒരാൾക്ക് 7 ലക്ഷം വരെ വരുമാനം ഉള്ളു എങ്കിൽ ആൾക് ടാക്സ് അടക്കണ്ടി വരില്ല... എന്നാൽ 7 ലക്ഷത്തിന് മുകളിൽ 1 rs കൂടിയാലും ഇതേ വ്യക്തി 3 ലക്ഷം തൊട്ട് ടാക്സ് കൊടുക്കണ്ടതായി വരുന്നു...

Yes. If you are salary is less than or equal to 7 lakhs you don't need to pay anything. But if it becomes 7.1 lakhs, you need to pay tax according to the slab.

@@tillvinrajan8890 no ! 7 lakhs il താഴെ ആണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ ടോട്ടൽ ഇൻകം എങ്കിൽ നിങൾ ടാക്സ് അടക്കണ്ട. മറിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ ടോട്ടൽ ഇൻകം 7,00,010 രൂപ ആയൽ 3 ലക്ഷത്തിന് മുകളിൽ ഉള്ള തുകയ്ക്ക് അതാത് ടാക്സ് സ്ലാബ് അനുസരിച്ച് ടാക്സ് അടക്കേണ്ടി വരും.

നികുതി വരുമാന പരിധി മൂന്ന് ലക്ഷം രൂപയാണ്. ദേശീയ സമ്പാദ്യ പദ്ധതി നിക്ഷേപം , പ്രൊവിഡൻ്റ് ഫണ്ട് , ഇൻഷുറൻസ് പോളിസി തുടങ്ങിയ നിക്ഷേപമുള്ളവർക്ക് അതിൽ പരമാവധി നാല് ലക്ഷം വരെ റിബേറ്റ് ലഭിക്കും. ആ റിബേറ്റ് ഉൾപ്പെടെയാണ് ഏഴു ലക്ഷം. ഈ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങളൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരാൾക്ക് മൂന്നു ലക്ഷത്തിന് മുകളിൽ വരുമാനത്തിന് ടാക്സ്.

സ്ഥലം റൂറൽ പ്രദേശത്തെ കൃഷി സ്ഥലം ആണെങ്കിൽ ടാക്സ് ഇല്ല. മറ്റേത് സ്ഥലം വിറ്റാലും ലാഭത്തിൻ്റെ 20% ടാക്സ് അടക്കേണ്ടി വരും. ലാഭം = 75 lacs - (വാങ്ങിയ വില* indexation)

ഇപ്പോൾ ഓഫീസർസിന്റെ എല്ലാം സാലറി 7lac നു മുകളിൽ ആണ്. പിന്നെ എന്തു റിബേറ്റ്. ഞാൻ ഹോം ലോൺ എടുത്തു പുതിയ വീട് വെച്ചത് തന്നെ tax അഡ്ജസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ ആയിരുന്നു. നാട് വിട്ടത് ഇപ്പോൾ നന്നായി എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.

ജോലി ചെയ്യാത്തവർ തിന്നാൻ പാടില്ല. ജോലികൾ ധാരാളം ഉണ്ട്. പലർക്കും പോകാൻ മടിയാണ്. അരമണിക്കൂർ ജോലി ചെയ്താലും ഒരു ദിവസം ജീവിക്കാനുള്ള കാശ് കിട്ടും. കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലേ ഇലക്ടറിഷ്യന്മാരും പ്ലബിങ് പണിക്കാരൊക്കെ വൈകുന്നേരം ചെറിയ ജോലിക്കൊക്കെ പോകുന്നത്.
