I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I went with the Tucson because I wanted AWD. It has been one of the biggest mistakes. The first was getting a Hyundai. They don’t care about their consumers. My car has been blowing headlights- having electrical issues (my auto windows go back down when you roll them up, my rear windshield wipers go off whenever they want, my break light seems to go on and off at random. I have reached out because as a company they should only want the best products out there. I was told that “because my car is over 3 years old. There is nothing they can do for me. To bring it to a dealer and “see what I can get” for it. I owe more than it’s worth because one thing they don’t tell you when you buy a Hyundai is they depreciate way faster than you can make payments to survive. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI.

My last car was a lemon produced by Toyota, which is considered one of the most reliable vehicle companies. I had put so much money in repairs, I finally decided not to repair the last break down and move on.

Hey Charlie I think it would have been great if you guys compared the changes in the front seats like the wireless charging pad that Daniel didn't like in his car and also the infotainment and digital gauge cluster. Still a great video and I will always be a fan (already subscribed with notifications)! Also I love the way you say calligraphy and have started saying it the way you do.

I do wish we had the diesel option in the U.S. - I've driven several diesel cars in the EU and they are the most powerful and fuel efficient engines that are put into cars these days.

I think the 2020 front end looks better more cohesive and original. They should've just made some evolutionary changes not changes for the sake of making changes.

Charlie if your able to talk to hyundai design team please tell them " we know your trying hard to be different, modern, cool but its gotta look good first and foremost not just different. Kia is killing it. All their models look great. Hyundai looks kinda different to put it mildly.

Nice comparison of the two. I've noticed that the Santa Fe in other markets still have the third row seating, something they did away with in North America when the debut the Palisade. I even remember the 2013 Santa Fe Sport, a five seater, selling in other markets with a THIRD row! They offered a stretched Santa Fe GLS with the third row in the middle of the 2013 production year. Of course the diesel is available almost everywhere but the N.A. market.

I had a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe with a third row so I go down to get another one and I found out in 2018 they stopped making the third row so I am a proud owner of the Hyundai Palisade SEL baby

Really like your concept of this review. And I really like the new design and that they decided to hide the exhaust tips. To me it looks more symmetrical, I will say if they came up with a N-Performance there should be exhaust tips on both sides not one sided. Btw question, is there an isofix on the center of the second row seat? Or do you think a booster seat can be fitted on to the center if I had an isofix seat placed on the side. Also I live in the UAE, by any chance you know the expected launch for the MiddleEast region? Long shot question but thought I just ask. Hope to hear from you soon and thank you for the videos.

Good point! The previous model had bigger 2nd row air vents with cubby space and flip-covered usb ports, which is best. I think hidden type mufflers works best with the new design, it gives that clean look and hides those soot covered muffler tips in the long run; for both gas and diesel engines.

My car is a Hyundai Santa Fe 2020 3.5 6V engine... And it's really powerful. The only issue: lack of cargo space while I deploy the 7 seats. There is almost nothing cargo space.

I disagree... the 2020 has an ordinary look and blends with tones of other cars on the road... the 2021 stands out, it has its own character which you love or hate. Well done Hyundai!

I think the issue with the 2021 model is where the grill meets with the headlights. IMO they should have kept it separated with the body of the vehicle. It's not that the overall design looks bad compared to the 2020, IMO it actually looks a little more sleek. Just that separation with the body color IMO would've looked so much better.

Just bought a 2020 Santa fe sel awd 2.0 t. loaded. All in black with the 19in black and aluminium wheels. With leather. I'm very happy with the 2020 than the 2021. Exhaust tip showing. Looks great on mine.

The smaller air vents probably push the same quantity of air, now because the vents are smaller they will push out the air faster because it is pushing the same amount of air through a smaller opening. This is called the Venturi Effect and it is the same effect you experience with shower heads or your kitchen sink or garden hose, to get water to come out faster.

I'm not sure what Hyundai and KIA are doing with their new cars, but these new ones DO NOT look their brands and prices! Cover the badges and these easily mistaken for BMW, Mercedes, or Audi! Compared to RAV4 or CR-V, these look much much better with better quality interiors! WOW!

In a perfect world I would have the body of the 2020 with the interior of the 2021. I’m just not as big a fan of the new grille and headlight design. This also feels more like a new generation rather than a mid-cycle refresh.

Is the digital speedometer available for the basic model or only top of the line?

Hi! I would like to kindly ask if santa fe 2021 comes in a 7 seater variant? Thank you in advance. :) Or is it only available in certain countries? Coz i've seen a coupld of reviews from different countries and they keep on saying it only comes in 5 seater variant. I was hoping if perhaps any idea when will it come to ph and if the 7 seater will be available here. Thank you. ❤️❤️

I have a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe and only real things I like on the new design are the headlamps with new DRL's and the back turn signals...besides that i prefer the 2020

In Indonesia, it's impossible to get 2021 Sorento. They stop importing since 2013. So I guess I stick with the 2020 2,2 Diesel santa fe since it's the only santa fe available here...

I love (and I have bought) the 2020 version. I don't really like this new grill too much, except with dark colors. Some too much snake-like, maybe? Good job with the new interior, it's better by far, except the second row space for left phone with charging. I like the new rear turn leds but I prefer the 2020 version with the pipes seen, and the chrome metallic line between the lights, it looks to me more sporty than this new 2021 version.
