Is discrimination about hair really still a thing? I understand a few incidents every year in the US that has most likely 360 million people. Times have changed. The people who pay to get afro hair have nothing to do with that, and most likely know nothing about it. They (just like black people wearing wigs & weave) want to have the physical features they believe will make them more beautiful - even if they are the exact opposite of what they have naturally.

We were then psychologically made to believe that straighter hair (European) was the epitome of beauty. So we then, broken and not knowing any better, converted to those types of “beauty standards”. I'll be honest, I've never been discriminated against because of my hair by non blacks, it was always black people who had something negative to say about black hair, for as long as I can remember. I think this "outrage" is just projection . BP have a serious self esteem problem so of course it would irk the spirit when an "other" wears our hair because you can't fathom why, especially since BW are scalping themselves to look like them while hiding their natural glory....major self reflection is needed for us and what we think beauty is.
