This shoe wasn't even on my radar since the previous version was kind of a dud. Now I'm intrigued! "Slimmed down Novablast" sounds pretty alright.

People are not talking about the midsole geometry ASICS is developing with their entire line up! I’m super excited about this one I’ve loved the novablast and run every day with my nimbus 25!

I thought the geometry on the novablast was horrible, might not just suit me though, I do get on alright with superblast but still find that a bit awkward at slow paces

hi does the midsole come up over the foot so you sit in the foot bed providing more lateral stability.

I really like where asics is headed as far putting together a line of shoes for the complete marathon build. Cushioned trainer- Novablast or gel nimbus Speed workout- Magic speed Race day- Metaspeed Feels like the closest thing to the saucony endorphin line that any company has been able to put together and I’m here for it.

I’m considering g pairing these as my second shoe with my nimbus 25. I’m a new runner and I’m about 212lbs. My 5k is about 40 minutes, but getting steadily better. Would this shoe be a good pairing?

Will you guys be doing a between 2 shoes between this and the endorphin speed 3? I’ve found my ES3 have lacked the pep the ES1 had and have been eyeing the magic speed as my next tempo shoe.

Same but with the ES2, which is near a perfect shoe for me. ES3 is just blah, looking for a replacement as the ES2 inventory is running low.

I am hope this will feel like the Endorphin speed 2.. (I had the speed 2 and 3 and I thi k the V3 is a dead cat compaired to the v2.. speed 3 is much softer with no pop and rubs my achilels to a degree I cant use them) endorphin speed v2 was a great shoe even if a little too tight.

Looks like this is going to be my shoe for the HM and 25km, maybe even the marathon if it feels good. V1 is really hard to get into and out of though, hope that's not the case with this one.

Hi everyone, I need some advice; I'm undecided on which number to take. I read that the length of the shoe is the same as the others (I'm a happy user of the Asics Cumulus 25 and Novablast 4) but that they are a little narrow on the forefoot. Is it better to take half a size more? Should I go for my classic 42 or rather a 42.5? Thanks to those who answer me!

Magic speed wouldn’t be good for recovery. NB 1080 is a better choice or Gel Nimbus 25/26

It’s a neutral shoe with a plate, it isn’t designed as a stability shoe.

Please Help Me Im currently contemplating whether to get the new Asics Magic Dpeed 3 or the Vaporfly 2 for my racing shoes, my main concerns are, will there be much ride difference (bounce, energy return, etc,) and durability issues in Vaporfly 2 I would love a racing shoes that I can use occasionally during workouts without worrying it will degrade easily. I have never used any vaporflys, seeing many runners high praise of it make me very tempted tho (are they really that good, has significantly more energy return?) For now, Im currently leaning more towards the magic speed 3 because many reviews claim that the Vaporfly 2 break down in faster rate than normal shoes. if you have bad or good durability experience with your Vaporfly 2 please share it down below. And if both at the same price is it without a doubt the Vaporfly is the better deal regarding all my concerns? All opinions and experiences will be greatly appreciated 🙏

Deviate Nitro is heavier and more like a daily trainer. Magic speed is a speed/race shoe.

Glideride 3 = plush ride, firm plastic plate, daily trainer upper. Not really a good match up for a light tempo shoe.
