In this episode, we discuss the latest specification for the NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.
The NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals is an advanced health and safety qualification. It replaced the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety in April 2021. The latest course development is designed to develop your competence in all areas of health and safety so you can reduce risk in dangerous environments and keep people safe. It’s packed full of tools unique to Astutis to help you pass your assessments the first time.
The qualification units are assessed in the following way:
DN1/ID1 - Know-Workplace health and safety
DN2/ID2 - Do -controlling workplace health issues
DN3/ID3 - Do - controlling workplace safety
Once you have passed all three unit assessments, you will receive your overall grade for the qualification (Distinction/Credit/Pass).
Learners who are still studying their NEBOSH Diploma (not yet achieved all three units of the Diploma qualification) will move to the Ofqual regulated version of the qualification. Any units already achieved under the July 2020 specification will be automatically transferred across as recognised prior learning towards the Ofqual regulated version.
This means that, when learners achieve their qualification, it will be under Ofqual regulation. The learner’s final parchment will feature an Ofqual logo, enabling them to use their qualification towards IOSH membership.
