I have an older Sun Mountain speed cart. I'm actually thinking about getting a new one for next season. The main folding joint fastener is start to strip out and the tires don't hold air very well. I notice that all the new carts don't bother with pneumatic tires. Thanks for checking in, and happy golfing.

Given the irons will not rotate and stick out, is there an issue laying the bag flat on the ground or in a vehicle?

The side of the bag sticks out a bit but the blades still touch. There is clearance in the hole so the club just moves to the other side of the hole. I would say not a problem in trunks and areas with some padding but not great for a truck bed.

What if you put on a bag top cover? Will it fit or does it even have one? You know, to keep rain off them.

@@genezeltner7422 it is interesting that all of the big brands moved manufacturing to China. Now, those manufacturers are starting their owns brands and making the same quality equipment but for lower prices.

Can you use a rain cover with the clubheads sticking out the bag side?

I just did a test fit and it does go on easily with the irons in place but it doesn’t zip closed 100%. I could get it 90% zipped without trying hard.

I really like this bag but I use one-length irons. If you put your 7-iron in the shortest wedge slot, is it too long to sit in the slot?

@@TheLawnEngineer Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I liked the T-Lock 2.0 because it works equally well when using a golf cart or when walking with a push cart. I generally walk but occasionally ride. When I ride, my clubs are basically backwards. This would have been perfect. I will most likely go with the Revolver XP bag.

Midsize would be fine but oversize would be tight.

Not sure if you have any pull but i ordered my golf bag on Monday and here i am on Thursday with no tracking number. When i emailed support they tild me the warehouse "handed the bag to fedex" but they still dont have a tracking number. Its starting to feel like i am being scammed.

I have a quick question. I'm 6'7" and my irons are 1 1/2" longer than standard. Will this present a problem, or is there enough depth to accommodate the clubs so that the heads still engage with the slots. I can finagle a little, because I have driver, 4 wood, 3 hybrid, 4 hybrid all with head covers. So, I think the first iron slot I would have to use would be the 4 hybrid in the 3 iron slot....and so on. So, I think essentially, I'll need 1" extra instead of 1 1/2". I hope this makes sense. Will the bag work for me, and are you still happy with it?

I did some testing and anything +1/2” or less sits good. If you go longer than that the irons won’t sit correctly. That is starting in the outside ring with a 4 iron. I think you would have to start with a 6 iron assuming 1/2” per iron number length reduction.

These companies just buy the bags from Alibaba and rebrand them. Founders club did the same thing for years.

Founders club bags are not very nice to look at though designs are terrible. Have to say the design and color scheme of this brand much much better.

Founders club do not have the extra slot for shafts to lock in to. Bennington made the closest design to this about 14 years ago, but still no shaft slot. This is an original design. 😃

Yes, there are 3/4 moons on all of the slots to snap the shafts into place.

@@SmoothBassVO All of them have shaft detents except for the putter slot. All of the iron slots around the outside have the shaft detent in addition to the three in the middle for woods. I don't use the shaft detents in the iron slots but they are there.

@@SmoothBassVO Wow, I'm not sure how I missed that...I guess I didn't look close enough at my bag. The longest three iron slots have the shaft detent, the others do not. So you are correct with your count of 6 slots having the shaft detent.

Are your clubs standard length? Mine are +1 and I'm a little concerned they wont sit down all the way in the grooves.

Mine are plus 1/2. I’ll try to do some measuring to see if +1 would be a problem.

@@smittyj014 you’re welcome. What is the longest iron you play? I have 4 thru LW in the outside ring of holes. If you start with a 5 iron you could put that in the first position and it would work.

Agreed. Bennington are much larger, heavier, more expensive and lack the shaft holding slot. I had one for many years and and OGIO and they have some rattle from club banging.
