I 100% agree, its so interesting that even if you have to adopt a pet (iam talking about western world) there is a long process to vet the adopter but for Kids there is no such thing! anyone can have a kid. And then we see these people mistreat their kids and scar them for life, in some situations they are directly responsible for the death of their child. Its a sad world.

@Maasi Museebtan. Exactly! People put Parents on Pedestals like they are some Higher Beings. Like They Can't make any mistakes. Learning is a Life-Long process. Parents should be aware of the Fact that One Day My Children will Demand Things and Space and how we should deal with it when it happens. Also if We See it From Islamic Perspective, Allah tests all Humans through Health, Wealth, Children, Etc... People think just because Parents have been through sooo much they won't be tested any further which is a Flawed Argument because Allah Tests His Most Loved Slaves Even More to Keep them Firm in Their Faith like Prophets.

sometimes I really feel disconnected from Pakistan as a whole, I cant relate to this narrative of ' girls ko rights nahi miltay at least from my side' I had no sisters, but my mother was a super fierce personality, she is a doctor but my father and grand father super diplomatic and all inclusive so I never saw this environment even in the extended family. When I hear these things from the pod stuff like, "we do not let woman of the house give her opinion and take part in decision making' is so weird to me. having said that, with time, I have noticed that pakistani men regardless of how they were raised tend to just think of women as beneath them. Interpretation of islam as preached by our so called scholars has not helped this sentiment either.

@Safi Faruqi the religion is in the hand of illiterate scholars now, once upon a time 100 years ago, a religious scholar was also a scientist that made inventions. Before preaching a statement there used to be a vote from men and women scholars if it got an almost equal vote only then that opinion used to be preached out in public. Now there are hardly any female scholars forget about voting for an opinion, opinion is forced now.

@@hamzaakhter4353 In some of his videos you can see pictures of framed atheists like Christophe hitchens on his wall, a reowned vile atheist and islamophobe. What kind of a man hangs the portrait of such people in their house. Only a closeted radical atheist. In one video he talks about how he wants secularism and towards the end he talked about how good was the constitution of medina. Common sense would indicate then he should talk about creating a proper islamic society based on true principles of islam rather he would prefer secularism. Cognitive dissonance. Most of these people who work in the media are closeted atheists and radical liberals anyways.

To the guy between 39:05-1:10:47 You need to tell your family understand kay meri behan Ka pati Acha hai cause he treats her nicely but I am bad because I treat my wife good the same way. If the family persists the same way I would suggest maintain a casual contact but don't cut it off and grow your friends circle. Sometimes friends become family. Also have kids, they will take most part of your life and keep you busy. Secondly, it's okay to cry. Men should cry sometimes to take it all out of their system. It does not make you week. Don't be ashamed of it. Lastly, be a better parents to your own kids. Give them all the love you did not have as a child. Best of luck buddy.

I thank to Allah as much as i can that my mother supported me to go abroad and live peace life. Pakistani society is really a toxic they wont allow to live peacefully. My mother was my biggest support forever and for her support i can handle every obstacle because she was a pillar for me. I miss her 24x7 as she left this duniya. ☹

This thing hit so close to heart when Junaid said that look if your partner hold the door for you or if he walks beside you and not ignore you like you don’t exist. I noticed in my ex husband that he did not have these manners and he was such a selfish narcissist person overall. only cared about himself. Good points to keep in mind when getting married

I disagree with you on commenting imran riaz khan. It was just out of context clip cut. He firmly condemned the murderer. But there is always a root cause of every incident. Why she was visiting him without nikkah in his own house. Moreover he was also famous as drug user. So if you go against the laws of islam this will happen. He said that her father contacted her 8 times but she replied only for 3 times but she was more in touch with her murderer

Bhai mai apni Begum ki baatein sunta hu aur maanta bhi hu, lekn yaar agar woh har cheez mai daat ke hi opinions dekhi gii toh zaahir si baat hai merii hati gii, unko kuch bol dou toh Haaye Haaye Bawaal khara hojaata hai. Jaise Mard ki ego fragile hai, Aurton ki usse zaada hai Fragile. Mard ko agar listening classes leni ki zarurat hai toh aurton ko Speaking Classes. Opinions dou lekn phadda nai karo, har waq apna oppression sawaar karne ki zarurat nai. Phr zaahir si baat hai iss tarah ki discussion hogi toh aurton ko bechaari samjha jaayega.

I agree with you. I have seen such a female person bas apni man mani, and I have also seen such a male person bas har time apni marzi har kaam me. Balance is extremely important. We people as husband and wife should both sit and listen to the other person’s problems. Remove our egos and accept our mistakes.

Pakistan is 19th century West, it'll take some time but women will eventually take a higher role in society, and it is starting to happen.

Often people club Pakistan, Bangladesh, India in South Asia and say women situation are really bad there. While these guys discussed situation in Pakistan, me as a girl living in Delhi can't relate, I think situation in India is still a lot better than Pakistan. Women empowerment is definitely better here compared to Pakistan.

But don't boycott your mother (Allah naraz hoje ga, u can b at loss anytime then) Allah ki Raaza ke lye for least don't boycott, keep helping them financially. Apne waldain ko uff tk na karo, unki farmabarari kro even they are non Muslim, na farmani karo if they force you to give upon your regloiuus practices like namaz or so.

Aik or bat apne jo bola k Pakistan me aurat safe hai he nahi. Ye bat b ghalat hai. Good and bad people are everywhere. Mujhe Australia me 10 saal hogaye hain. Yahan b aye din rape cases aye hote, tinder date se inkar dia to apartment ki balcony se niche phaink dia, Aik case aya, gf breakuo krna chati thi, usne usko mar k, cook kr k fridge me rakh dia. 1 week bad smell hoi to reports hoi to pakra gya. Aik doctor date pe gai, uske bad usne milna chor dia as she didn’t like the guy, larkay me ghar ghus k usko mar dia. Bacho k rape, sexual assaults, physical assaults n so much more every single day happen here. Koi Aik week nahi jata Jis me aisi koi news na hoti ho. Ap log just international media daikhte. Hum local news daikhte. N roz koi na koi issue aya hota. Even Australia me tak kaha jata k late night alone nahi jao, when u go make sure to share ur live location. N so much more. Ye hadsaat just Pakistan nahi her jaga hote hain. Jo ganda mard hai, wo ganda mard he hoga chahy wo kahi b chala jaye. Me doctors k sath kam kia when I used to work with them. Itne domestic violence cases attend krte thy n larki ko report he nahi krna. Burai her jaga hai. Just Pakistan me nahi. It’s just ap Pakistan ko daikh rahy magar ap bahir k mulko me Ye media me nahi at itna.

Feminism is a sociological theory with a proposition that all societies are inherently patriarchal and all social activity in some way strives to maintain the male-dominant structure. One could support equality for women, while not believing in the feminist hypothesis that all societies will always be patriarchal.
