+Raven Blacke Yes. In his music videos/songs, he acts so tough and cool, but in other ones (Haru, Haru + Let's Not Fall In Love), we see him so sad, expressing or hinting at his true feelings. And in interviews, he seems just so tired and depressed and he just wants to go home and sleep for 1,000 years. He gets a lot of pressure from people, especially about his relationships. How people hate him just because he was dating Kiko. It might sound cheesy, so pardon me, but I just want to go up to G-Dragon and hug him until he's happy. I don't mean it in a way that I like him and I want to hug and kiss him; I just feel like he's very emotionally sad.

gracieafur 1 I couldn't agree with you more. Although he' s constantly surrounded by people, he leads a very lonely life. I often see the sadness in his eyes when he talks about dating & having a family. He's given so much of his life to us but I feel the love he receives from fans like us can only do so much. So no, it's not cheesy at all... I also find myself wanting to do the same thing; I want to hug him and tell him that "he's worked hard". I hope someone close to him can see what we see & do what we can't...

Wow. His english voice, korean voice and singing voice are completely different from each other. 😮 I have heard many big bang & GD songs but never watched interviews. His personality isn't what I thought it was.

+desiderataification i realised tht too...when I went to watch their concert he was the quietest...I ddnt expect tht from him....i guess I expected his voice and attitude to be similar to his stage one but they're totally different....hes so deep and down to earth I honestly prefer off stage G-Dragon...he also has this sad look in his eyes I feel like hes lonely bt he hides tht pretty well

I miss the way Jiyong smiles a lot. Like on the beginning of their debut, he smiles a lot and laughs a lot and talks a lot and plays a lot, but now he barely smile anymore. Like once in a blue moon thing. I guess the music industry can really change you. I just hope that he wont pressure himself so much. Oppa, we'll love everything you compose and we'll support you no matter what. Please don't push yourself so much. Stay well!

KimTrio iKON Suga Swag Chel GD has achieved so many things in life. All his dreams he wished to achieved while he was young - to be a successful singer, composer and leader has been achieved. Well the thing is he had achieved more than that, he had become an all-round artist internationally and not just in music. Now the thing is GD misses his normal life. Or in another word, he longs for other beautiful things in life, just like having his own family etc. You can see it in his eyes when he looked at Sarang in the latest ' The return of Superman' episode. The way he smiles so cheerfully when he looked at a little girl warms my heart. And I bet he misses his family a lot a lot too. He just miss the normal, simple life. But GD has that undying passion for music. So I really hope to hear their music for at least a few more years. And I would be really happy for all of Bigbang's member if they found their true love. They deserve to experience this part of their life too. But they are legend and their music is immortal! :')

Wow! This is the first interview I saw of GD. I totally was not expecting what I saw/heard. After Fantastic Baby and Crayon, I thought he'd be really hyper/4D, but he's so calm. I'm definitely not disappointed though. It's quite charming someone can be like that.

yeah, his English is great. I think Taeyang teaches him too cause Taeyang speaks native English. I just see Koreans' English is pretty bad. I saw in a Challenge show that one female singer doesn't know how to pronounce "Fall (Autumn)" and she said "Foul". And the others don't know what "F" stands for in 1/F, 2/F etc. They said it's Full and Find....Speechless! :(

Watching this again years later and see something I didn’t before. GD has always been so amazingly talented and able to switch between gangster swag, street punk, cheeky chic and complete gentleman. Though here I feel a darkness, wether he was just busy and preoccupied and that’s what gave the vibe but I feel like there’s something else, like a loneliness or something missing. Perhaps I’m totally wrong but he didn’t seem happy anymore.

There's this thing that he does with his mouth whenever he's speaking like pouting. It's so cute. I really like how he is comfortable and confident about himself. Like I love GD so much that I can't even express it with words. He is my love, my role model, and my ideal type. Whenever I am feeling sad, I listen to BIGBANG's songs, especially GD's, then I instantly become happy. It's as if he is a medicine for sadness. His bright smile makes me smile like crazy. You cannot be an artist as Brilliant as GD and not be sad.. Artists and auteurs like GD exist on a different plain of conscious existence and are much more emotional and complicated and detached at the same time than most ordinary people. This is what makes them the best at what they do, and this is why they are always depressed and lonely.

I came across them while watching Running Man. Still trying to warm up to their songs as a group and solo artists. BUT there is something very special about the band and GD. Very intriguing, hard working and good looking. I have this urge about learning as much as possible about the group as a whole and GD as a person via his interviews. Also their camaraderie is too die for. 3 cheers to this Amazing Leader G Dragon :)

I was crying before I watched this and throughout the interview I realized I stopped crying and started smiling,and when he said he was sensitive and that he cries a lot .....I just said "I CAN RELATE" XD

Indeed. It's taken me 9 months to break down the under lyrics, plus he cloaked all of his album titles and hit songs in order of release all the way through MOTTE in between the lyrics and the video...."In this game I'm the hood to the winker"...OMG! That's where Crooked is hidden. "Hood" means "Rook" (a chess piece and he admitted in his 2022 interview that he plays chess and has a million dollar chess board on his coffee table) and "Rook" is the origin of the words "Crook" and "Crooked" and a "Hoodwink" is from a chess move called "Castling" where the "King" and the "Rook/Crook" switch places to checkmate..."The End Game." That could only work out for him and red and black are the colors on a chess board....Those like yourself who know how intelligent he is, know what the meaning of that song is and what it refers to. Don't cross or dishonor a Dragon, otherwise you will pay heavily...Damn, he's so intelligent and has balls the size of Jupiter.

I love how not just GD , but Big Bang in general are so chill. And treating their fans like friends. We love them not just for their music but their wonderful personalities. Forever love B❤B
