My best friend in high school and I were present during a domestic violence situation when a dude's shoulder was dislocated. We were absolutely horrified, looked at each other, and started laughing. It was NOT funny in any way, it was purely nervous laughter as neither of us had witnessed anything like that before. That laughter still haunts me, even though it was unintentional.

That girl that smiles in uncomfortable positions does exactly what I do. When my mom died, at her funeral a little smile started to creep onto my face, and the harder I tried to make it go away, the bigger it got. We all express sadness and emotions in different ways.

I am one of those people. Sometimes when I walk around or I'm just sitting down, my friend will come up to me and ask me what's wrong. I'll say "nothing" and they'll say "oh, you just had a weird look on your face." I do not need therapy, nor does Kenneth. I have normal emotions like everyone else, and everyone shows their emotions in unique ways.

@@jessicamartin2658 it's a way of displaying emotions. Most people when extremely sad uncontrollably cry. Some uncontrollably smile. Some uncontrollably smile and cry, while some make no expression at all. We are all different, that doesn't mean that those who aren't "normal" need to get therapy when there's no reason for it. Like I said before, you have no idea what you're talking about.
