After reading your comment it was like what is written by you is written by my mind. After understanding my mind has blown with ideas, not with questions. It is like by every single experience mind can distinguish between me and it. Doership has completely gone. Mind can see how every single action is happening automatically and not done by me, even this comment. @Anonymous shastra or chandogya upanishad did not use rope and snake illusion. It uses only clay and pot. Shankaracharya deviates and says that clay and pot illustration is like snake and rope.

@Anonymous when concepts are difficult to understand we usually give examples to make it easy. After giving examples again who will give another example to make first example to understand? All these are illogical. When we say Brahman is beyond logic it does not mean it is illogical.

@Anonymous no , in that case, you please subala upanishad which does not say so. Shankaracharya and others consider only 10 upanishads. Shankaracharya's Braham sutra bahsayas , acharya refers only chandogya upanishad regarding clay as pot equalling rope and snake not as you say. I think you refer bhramasurta bhasya. He uses primarily chandogya upanishad which is refuted by other ramanuja in sri bhasya, madhvacharya and other

Regards K - I am not qualified at all to give an opinion but the the masters have taught that the illusion exists in mistaking table and wood as two seperate articles- no table can exist if we take away the wood. Our suffering stems from being lost in name and form - seperatedness causes

Swami is clearly stating that Undifferentiated absolute Brahman itself is influenced by Maya (illusion). As a result Undifferentiated absolute Brahman under the illusion imagine or think as Jeevatama and experience this differentiated world of Relative truth and illusive truth. Aim of Vedanta is to move up the ladder of Relative truth to Absolute truth. What is the eliminating knowledge which removes the Relative truth ? Is this Eliminating knowledge is real or illusive or Brahman itself? if you analyze all these, none will be tenable. Eliminating knowledge is also illusion and eliminated knowledge is also illusion. How could the illusion be removed? Also remember Eliminating knowledge should also disappear after its work is done. Sankaracharya states example that Forest fire will destroy the forest and it extinguish itself. This is illogical. Forest Fire destroy the forest: it simply burns the trees and plants. It means that its state is transformed from one state to another. Forest does not get disappear along with Fire. In same way when a person has already poisoned but after taking antidote- Person will still be alive with as a rejuvenated person. ILike wise when a person state that it is not snake and rope. It does not mean that person who is seeing will realize that he is Brahman. He will be still seer (jeevatma) seeing Brahman. one cannot prove that brahman is Jeevatma.

jk inmon Lots of difference is gold becoming a chain r ring against rope showing as snake. Previous is real transformation and second is illusion due to defect. Many are inconsistent between philosophy and supportive illustration logically

@@AB-rq7qr does that mean is an illustration including us. Only brahman exists and we are all part of his dream. When he wakes up nothing will exist. So if I am an illustration of brahman then I cannot merg with him upon my death. That explains Maya but what about Lord Krishna (Brahman). He was actually on this earth or was he a character in his own dream? This is a very deep and confusing subject.

No our individual consciousness cannot produce matters it's all present in nature. But reality is different. It's difficult to explain but it's easy to understand. Matter as atoms and molecules are always the same. But there is a divine play going around unnoticed. Know these atoms and molecules as rechargeing batteries. By the help of the Divine light matter is changing forms from active to inactive form. The food as matters that we eat has entered our alimentary canal millions of time but by the help of nature the same atoms and molecules are getting a new shape slowly. Above this eye there is another eye which escape the body and through that eye no matter exists. This is what Advaita says. But dualism is very different you can see God with the Divine eye as well as with mortal eye it's Her play with matter without matter. She can change all the rules of this world in a second if she wish only for Her beloveds only they can understand whom She wants guide. But for the rest of world even in front of That She remains hidden. But know that matter is helping us to reach the highest state of reality. It's something like this, we see something good we purchase to decorate or to eat, now the mind and the intellect ask each other,do you need it how do you purchase, is it honest way etc. Even in analysis the imprint of matter remains but is there any matter in that thought in reality. No it's not. This is how matter influence Maya. May be swami jee can put more light on that topic. I hope you will get more guidance from Swami jee and I am sorry to intervene. And below the 5 sheath we are finally left with consciousness QUESTION: But I think the ultimate question is that why is even there is a consciousness.Who made it ? And by it I am questioning the existence of consciousness. Why anything and everything? If your answer is the god(infinite reality) do it Then my question is why God ? Who made god (infinite reality)? How god came in existence.
