Lager for me, clean crisp and refreshing. I like ale too but lager is my favourite

You can store a Lager longer than an ale, over the warm summer when brewing was "impossible", but you don't have to. Some think they have to "lager" the beer to become a lager, but as long it is cold crashed for a week, all the haze complex has fallen out and it's filtered, it is ready to drink.

why pick one when i can drink and enjoy both. I like ales and lagers.

This video was recommended to watch next after another beer related video. I saw this was posted 11 years ago and noticed the description said 2012. I refuse to believe 2012 was 11 years ago.

True in a strict technical sense, however in a more general sense lagers are a product of industrialisation.

Surprising. I was told that lager is bottom fermented and ale at the top. My personal experience is that ales are flat, not much foam and feel empty. Lagers on the other hand have a good head and have lots of "body" - at least European lagers, American lagers are much more watery.

Loved it! How can you tell from the smells? And does the foam head last longer for either lager or ale? Sorry if the question is easy lol

Which is colder for the body? Ale or Lager?

Just depends on the mood for me. I like lagers but have grown to really appreciate ales and pale ales. Hot summer day, an ice cold lager, Stella or Bud Heavy. Chilling with friends, a craft IPA. I'll have to try Mill St Brewery. Do you guys have distribution in Michigan?

I've seen plenty of pale ales but never knew about dark lagers... What are some examples?

Which is sweeter ale or lager. I like the flavored beers

I tend to like lagers more, but an ale with enough tangy flavor is good too.

I like both.
