I'm enjoying this time, getting to know you guys better on a personal level! It's so weird.. I feel like I know you both now & we've been hanging out for weeks! 🤣 But seriously, you both are great and very entertaining to watch right now! Thank you for making us laugh when we don't have much to laugh about! 🙏 I'm a Registered Nurse in Knoxville, TN and was furloughed from my job last week. I love it. I might have been a little sad if my niece or nephew didn’t invite me to their wedding, but if I knew they were keeping the list to parents and best man/maid of honor, I would be okay with it. There’s no need to make someone else’s wedding about yourself.

This segment is officially the best program on TV. Normally you'd be envious or even think they were exaggerating, but you can see they've just lived a great life and are so in tuned with each other. I haven't watched Jimmy much for 5 years, after watching a ton of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, but this great segment is completely pulling me back in. Seriously, stop with the Kardashian BS that's bad for America, I want real people on TV. Please please Jimmy, keep this a weekly segment, online only if you want, when you go back. And TV producers, just go and find normal people like this telling their stories. This is actual reality TV. And you two totally deserve each other, and your life. Thank you for being a great example to kids.

Yeh, we had a Destination wedding. There are still relatives that "won't" talk to us because it had to be for 20 guests or less for us to be able to afford it. And a couple cousins who won't talk to us because they wanted the cousin to officiate the wedding. I had gotten to the point where is the wedding for me and my groom to be, or is it for everyone else? The Labor Day family reunions stopped after that. The guilt.

Tanyahachi 07 - Marry your best friend...someone you can talk to about anything and EVERYTHING, share a common world view, share common life objectives. If you have all of these, you’re almost guaranteed to be happy with your partner, and for a lifetime. The only downside is that if one dies before the other, the living one will probably be devastated, but in a lot of cases, they don’t live for much longer and will join their beloved soon.

Donna Peroche - You think? Why’s that? Asking because based on evidence I’ve witnessed, it’s consistently true. BTW, in case you’re misinterpreting what I mean, I’m not saying just ANY best friend. You obviously need to have chemistry with this person, so if you’re not attracted to the best friend you have, then I’m not talking about them. You can also have more than one best friend, so I would hope that ANY healthy partnership would consist of two or more people who love and respect each other, and have excellent communication. If they have completely separate lives and don’t have any interest in the other’s passions, wouldn’t that be a pretty boring person to share a household with? Whether or not you have a person/people you think of as a best friend, just considering the concept of who you want to spend your time and energy on, what kind of person would that be? Who’d you want as a housemate to share decision-making duties with, whether on big or small issues? 🤔

Roberta N. - Is it inaccurate? Seems to be a really common outcome. I mean, I don’t have exact stats, and I know that some people who lose their “once in a lifetime” partners go on to live for decades more, but if they’re very elderly, and all they’ve known is one another for pretty much all but the first two decades of their lives, some of them can’t imagine life without the other...but you know, maybe it’s the CODEPENDENT ones it happens to. Perhaps people with their individual and independent identities aren’t affected this way. Then again, there ARE a lot of codependents in the world...lol.
