1. The wheezer song Link mentions is called pink triangle if you're curious. And 2. In Canada we also don't wear shoes inside, or at least most of us don't. I haven't met every Canadian so I'I'm sure some do but everyone I know doesn't wear shoes inside.

Am also Canadian and can confirm that the great majority of us don't wear shoes indoors. Interestingly, most of my relatives on my dads side do wear shoes indoors, (I think that probably has something to do with my grandma and grampa growing up in farm country?) but no other household I've ever visited did.

In my experience it's best to have conversations about kids and such before you even go on the first date if you're talking beforehand, but I'm 30, so dates are usually planned at least a few days in the future due to busy schedules and so on.
